Well good afternoon fellow cruisers. It is amazing how many of us have those annoying problems popping up. I have a terrible tooth ache..went to the dentist this AM and he is sending me for ROOT CANAL!!!!I am a real baby when it comes to dental work and I am down right worst part it they can't get me in till Thrusday at 2:00pm. This is crazy.
But I do have some GREAT news . Angies MRI came back normal . As good as that is now we still have no answers, but I am not even going to pusue it untill we get back.
Now everyone plaes get healthy and stay that way!!!

I am the Queen worrier. I think of things to worry about that are just CRAZY. That being said I do not pay much mind to all of the Norovirus threads that start. If a cruise ship really has a problem the news jumps all over it. People get sick many places and most things take time to show up.Airplanes are a major issue. But when someone gets sick on the ship they always scream Norwalk. Washing hands if by far the best defense .Also trying to keep the kids from touching everything(esp hand rails) I always carry antibactiral gel and use it often. I think it is pretty much just a gamble someone is bound to get sick but hopefully it isn't any of us!!

After I posted my last note, I passed out, had a seizure and stopped breathing at work. The good thing is I work at a hospital and and my co-workers called a code blue. The bad news is the Drs are not sure what is going on and I am still hospitalized. We are supposed to fly out on the 9th, with me luck. I have nerver had a seizure a day in my life, but the dr's think I have epilepsy. So if I do get to go, hopefully I'll be seizure dree and I won't pass out. I'll have to get myself a helmet I guess
I'm from Phx AZ, and I would be interseted in meeting, hopefully I get released in time to go on the cruise!

Robyn - I'm so sorry to hear that. I do know a few folks who have great kids - I bet your nephew and CLynne's DS8 will hit it off. PM her and see what you guys can work out? Her DS is adorable but not sure if he's into soccer but I know he's on the swim team!

Where in AZ are you? We were planning on a dis meet soon with Blue Bayou (not cruising with us) and Disneynut1955 sometime soon - would you be interested? You can PM me - or you can wait and see on the cruise that I am not an axe murderer! But I can assure you - we are going to have a good time on this cruise. Are you coming to the Saturday dis meet?

What a shame. How aweful for you. But if it was going to happen it couldn't have happened in a better place. I will keep you in my thoughts and maybe you will make it on the cruise. Maybe maybe maybe you'll be there with us. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I wish you the best and having positive thoughts for you to come with us. I know the best place to get sick like that is at the hospital. Atleast they are trained correctly and you got help quickly. Glad you are feeling a little better. Just relax and think happy thoughts. Tests is the word for the day for you. Let the Doctors do all the tests they want study hard and pass them. sent your way for extra help.

Happy birthday Jackie! I too am glad the election was over. I was at my polling place from 6am this morning until 9:45 tonight. It was fun, but glad it is over. Now I can concentrate on packing!

hello everyone!

this is probably my last post - i was scheduled to work until 10am this morning - but yesterday i had a meeting with my boss and he said, "is today your last day?" which of course started my wheels turning and i pretty much thought - well - if he doesn't know . . . so i went with, "no, im working a few hours tomorrow but will be out before you get in!"

so - today is the pedicure, haircut & eyebrow waxing
tomorrow is reserved for house cleaning and last minute errands

and then friday - we fly to florida!
can't wait to meet everyone!

My mom flies in today!! I just checked the weather channel though and you all in the NE are having some crappy weather. Hope that clears soon and mom's flight is ontime and ok. I will be tracking her flight so I should know if it's on time or delayed.

The youngest is still sleeping so no idea how he's faring just yet. He ate a light dinner and held everything in so we shall see.

So much to do and so little time left!!!!!

There is a liquior called B & B which is Brandy and Benedictine and that stuff will also cure you. It clears the nasal passages right up. It is a very good after dinner drink. The kind you sip though

I am bring a bottle with me!!! The Package store (liquior store) was closing and I bought a lot of stuff from them befor they closed. I paid $15 for the bottle. Thats about half off

thanks Janice, I saw that on the WC. Her flight leaves PHL at 12:00 and hopefully it will just be light rain and no delays.

Mom has never flown alone before and doesn't really enjoy flying to begin with so I'm a little concerned.

Our prayers are with you and I hope everything works out and they figure out the cause and can treat it in short order. Having witnessed my daughter having a seizure I know it can be really scary. I can't imagine having one my self

Dave has packed his suitcases and now I get to pack for myself and help the boys. Oldest ds started a new job yesterday and he has to work today (and go to classes) and he has to work tomorrow. We are planning on hitting the road as soon as he gets home from work. Can't wait to meet you all Saturday (those of you staying at the residence inn we'll meet Friday).

Now I just have to get youngest ds to concentrate in school!

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. My DD has seizures so I totally understand. It was very fortunate that you work at a hospital. Please take care and take it slow. There are a lot of things that can trigger seizures. Epilepsy is a tricky thing. Sending you a and
