Hello again,
Now at home.
I am excited about the wrist bands but, sorry not the Docs.
Hubby bought 2 pair brn and blk, conservative he is but I just
don't care for them. Remember back to the 80's and water shoes
or jellies. That is what they remind me of .

Shoes: I was just suggesting so that you can bring back more pictures or
pins. the shoes take up room. Unless you buy cheap and leave them behind.
I am still trying to find silver shoes to wear most nights. Sis would not like it
if I wore my cloggs. Trying to stay with the attire.
:Pinkbounc
We probably need 2 pair of shoes for the day anyway. Sandals and then sneakers or Docs to walk around in.

I'm with you not crazy about the Crocs either. The do remind me of the 80's jellies.
I did see some silver shoes in Payless if you ever get a chance to get into one or if they have them your way and also try stores in the malls like Penney's.

Good Morning everyone!! I think I may actually start packing today -- I keep telling myself to wait but I think I'm going to give in today. :) I already have almost everything in a special area of my closet so I'm pretty much just moving from one place to another...

Have a WONDERFUL day!!!

My only problem is what if you do not wear any? What do you do then? I know some people who wear diapers. Now the rest of you get your minds out of the gutter. :rotfl2:

Now that is just where mine went right away. :rotfl2:

Although......it would be fun to see Santa Clause 3 with some kids.....

My kids and I will be right there too! Shirley is even packing some popcorn in the gift baskets we are giving the kids. Gee, I hope there is a place to pop it.

I can't wait to see the movie either. It should be fun.

I guess I'll be off of here until tonight. Have so much to do today. We are all getting down to the wire. It may be hard to get all these posts in before leaving as some of us are already starting our vacations and some of us will be getting ready with last minute things inbetween work and family things. I for one will give it a go to post as much as I can in a day. Have a good day all.

Just wanted to recommend a book if you are looking for a good, easy beach read.
Marley and Me by John Grogan.

It's a fast, easy, enjoyable read. (I read it in an evening plus a morning while I was hiding out in my bedroom!) It is especially great if you had/have a special/goofy dog in your life.

I laughed, I cried, I hugged one or two of my six dogs!!

We purchased the audio book from itunes. It is read by the author, so you really feel his emotions. We listened to it on our last drive to DL. We saw some of our lovable lab, as well as some traits we are happy Reba does not share with Marley. Confession though, we do use one of those maximum security dog prisons for her kennel.

Excellent recommendation. DW read it, and I'm reading it now.

There IS NOT. You may want to have that item removed....no microwave on the ship (accessable to guests).

I'm so jealous! I want my documents too! :furious: (not really furious, I just luved this little icon)

It's getting so close. I'm so :hyper:. I'm counting the :hourglass. I can't wait to :sail: so I can :dancer: and party: and :drinking1 and :beach: and :boat: and popcorn:: and most of all :love2: with my :groom: of course, and hopefully not get  (not from my :groom: of course) and definitely not do any :laundy: Oh, I think I'll get :tinker: to spread some magic pixiedust: and make them appear. Or, I could wait 'til the UPS guy :drive: down my street, put on a disguise pirate: and :tiptoe: up to his truck, grab the documents, :car: and make my getaway. Oh, but then the ::cop: would come and I'd never get to :sail:.

O.K. so I have a little insomnia and thought I'd try to see how many of these icons I could get into one post. Anyone care to top it :thumbsup2

Peace all. :hippie: Good night!!

Tracey

That was a great little story and such good usage of all the great icons! WAY TO GO creative one!

It is an excellent book, I too am a huge dog lover (actually any animal) and cried and cried (I cry when I'm happy and laughing alot too). Love it... I too grabbed my dogs and told them how happy I am that they are only minor terrors and not the major terror Marley was! I have been blessed with my "kids" for sure! My horse is even more like a dog than most horses. He played tug-o-war with a great dane when he was 6 months old... he runs and chases me in the arena and then runs away from me when I make "monster hands". He'll even come at me, shaking his head like he's all big and bad... then spin around for me to scratch his tail. (Most people think he's about to kick me - but when they see he wants his tails scratched they start laughing). He's been my constant companion for over 20 years! (Love before DH!!!!). When I got married and my time at the stables decreased, we bought him a little buckskin mare (his now love of his life). So we are all happy!!! You should see us pack up the Suburban and horse trailer, two dogs, two horses and me and DH in HEAVEN - camping and just being with our "family". :) Ahhh I'm gonna miss my family...on this cruise.... sniff sniff

Ok, just to add to the post count (anything for Jack!):

Marine Graduation Pics (hope this works...)

(And, yes, they were docs in the mail!!!)

Carolyn

Thank you so much for posting Young Ds's photos! So good to "see" him again! Ahhh i remember that smiling face!

The phone, I bet it's Jackie after to call to Boma (can we get ressies?) and to find out if V&A will let her post the certificate...

Wish us luck!!!

Yes...it was me on the phone!

Here's an interesting Victoria and Albert gift certificate fact. The person who bought the gift DOES NOT GET CHARGED ON THEIR CREDIT CARD untill the certificate is used. So, in order to extend the expiration date V&A calls the giver to get the OK as it would mean a charge on their card way in the future. ALSO, if the certificate is never redeemed, the giver is never charged.

So, of course, Peg and I agreed to let my boss know I can't use it, so she still has time to buy me a BIRTHDAY PRESENT! hehehe

Now based on past experiences with getting the WRONG information from a CM, I will call again later and confirm that this is true and then officially cancel my ADR (BTW, I called the restaurant directly for this info).

We were able to get an ADR at Boma at 7:50PM

Is someone willing to take on a shopping assignment at Castaway Cay? If so would you PM rocketralph as he's looking to get a couple of "Twice the Magic" t-shirts. (Remember, "Twice the Magic" items will only be for sale on our SECOND dip.) I'd volunteer, but I already have one of these assignments ::yes::

OH, I also PM'd Shirley to see if she can tell us the nearest FED EXP or UPS location!

Well, I guess we both had some nice conversations with WDW dining this morning. It would seem that the only restaurant that has room for 16 at close to 7pm would be Fulton's Crab House. So, we get to go from dining on a ship, to dining on a riverboat! Boy I wish the appetizers and dessert were "free" on the riverboat too! :teeth:

We wanted Ohana's. but they did not have room for 16 until 9pm, and some in our group have at 6am flight the next morning.

I too have some shopping assignments for our cruise-One person forgot to buy a twice the magic cap, and another poster lost her fish key chain.

Oh great now I have to buy a souvener
I just have to have the t-shirt , Ok I will wear it
to bed so It is useful.

Ok Dee it is the Crocs but when I get tired and excited the letters
all run together.

As far as the movie goes I would love to see the Santa claus 3 movie too.

I cannot read it would put me to sleep and that is not something I do on a
cruise. (ask DH).. I am afraid I will miss something. I guess we all turn
into the child mode aboard the ship.

I am going to take a load of stuff to storage and maybe I can get DH to drive
me to the store (shoes) I have been up for 27 hours and my energy battery i
is running low. Beep Beep low battery :scared1:

I forgot, Thanks for posting the picture of your proud soldier.
I am glad he is there or anywhere to protect us.
My family has a history of military service. Thanks for
sharing that wonderful and scary time of his life with all
of us. You have every right to be proud of this wonderful
young man.

THANK YOU FOR SERVING AND PROTECTING US EVEN THOSE
WHO SAY THEY DO NOT NEED YOUR SERVICES.
:thanks:

Ladies,
