They only have it one night? That stinks.

On the NCL Dawn we took in May 2004 they had it every night. It was a blast to go with the kids and watch everyone make fools of themselves before bedtime. They should do it every night.

BTW Are there kids allowed?

Family Karaoke Sat 11/10 9:45PM Studio Sea; Sun 5P Rockin Bar D;Mon 10:30P Studio Sea (DISNEY karoke); Wed 8:15P Studio Sea (DISNEY); and Friday night at 7:30 is the Talent Show Studio Sea

Does anyone know EXACTLY how early they start taking pictures in the atrium on Formal night. Seems I have a scheduling issue and this needs to be determined before I can proceed. :badpc:

For the Atrium Navigator just show's the Capt's reception 5:15-6P and 7:15-8P and that Minnie Mouse is in the lobby 9:30-9:45P

Okay... I need some help from the FL natives (heck, from the WDW addicts as well). I am looking for a place to meet for dinner after the cruise (on the 19th) that will accept a reservation for 16 people (8 adults and 8 kids). Some of us will be coming from the Magic Kingdom to meet up for dinner, and some will be driving in from Kennedy Space Center (so it can't be inside one of the parks). We were thinking Downtown Disney, and tried Rainforest Cafe. Rainforest does not have tables that large, and will not guarantee that we will all even be seated in the same portion of the dining room. Any suggestion??? :confused3

Trails End at Ft. Wilderness...I think they started taking ADR's last year. It's a little difficult to get to though (well, not for the MK folks), but casual and fun and good fried chicken!

Whispering Canyon and Ohana's are both good suggestions too. I KNOW Ohana can do a big table in the middle of the room.

Ok, just to add to the post count (anything for Jack!):

Marine Graduation Pics (hope this works...)

(And, yes, they were docs in the mail!!!)

Carolyn

Great pics! I see why you are so proud.

One ? In the pic of him in the kitchen in his t-shirt, what exactly is that y'all are having for dinner. Is that a CA thing? :rotfl2:

That's not what I'd call survival...I'd call that a death sentence. Isn't it funny how some people don't require as much sleep - my DH is like that sleeps 1/2 the time I do. I think I just go harder during the day - he's very laid back. I'm full speed ahead when I'm vertical (not snide comments from the peanut gallery on this ...) then I just CRASH and burn. Slow to wake up too - he's awake and alert the moment his eyes open. Not me! :surfweb: :flower3:

Won't be long now - we'll be :beach: :drive: :dancer: popcorn::  :cheer2: :grouphug: :coffee: :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 yes I know...many more drinking...

I have never required hours of sleep and I do go all day and night, not saying I haven't slept hours, but I figure there's plenty of time for that later down the road when I'm old and gray and retired. (That's if the government lets us retire. :rotfl: ) I can't wait to get down there to meet everyone. It will certainly will be a thrilling moment for one and all. :dance3: I for one can't wait. This time in 14 days I will be in FL. Can't wait, :Pinkbounc Can't wait, :bounce: Can't wait. :yay:

Tracey, you CAN use Magical Express (free) from MCO to WDW. The DCL bus however does cost...it's $60 round trip (for you that's WDW to Port C and Port C to the airport) per adult and slightly less for children. You can only be picked up from specific WDW resorts (so you have to get yourself to one of them) and you won't get to the ship till about 1:30 (ish).

The least expensive option is probably keeping the car. You certainly have the most flexability this way also. If you don't really need the car for any other reasons and are not concerned about the money, I'd suggest what Peg and I are doing. We are using Magical Express from MCO to WDW (free), hired a towncar from resort to the port ($$) and are using DCL ($30 each) from port to MCO on departure day. We just couldn't stand the thought of waiting at our resort for the DCL bus knowing our playments were in the terminal partying  and getting on the ship!

just to add to this, the DCL transfers are going up November 1st to $35 each way, so it would be $70 roundtrip now for the DCL transfers.

Yes, we are on all on the week before Halloween diet. Buy extra candy, dole out in daily servings, eat until our eyes cross! (Actually, the little ones were given even more candy from their aunt on Thursday, so we put them in separate bowls in an effort to maintain sanity over who-ate-what!)

Does that mean I'll get my own Jackie? Or since we are "together" you'll get them? I like getting packages!!!!:cool1: :rotfl2: :teeth:

Kim will most likely send them to me. HEY YOUNG LADY, have you done your on-line check in yet???? Hmmm?

We'll, I believe my work here is done. Time to leave the office and find some food for my din-din. Friday is PIZZA night, right?

To clarify for a cruise virgin, do we just put the DCL luggage tags on right before we head to the terminal (since we're schlepping our own luggage from tues to sat)?

Carolyn

Yes, you want to have the DCL tags on when you drop your luggage at the port.

PEG....I can't print my cruise contract till you fill out your forms!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, really going home now.

Carolyn That is one handsome marine you both should be very proud congrats again.

Peg - I doubt that is Oprah it is too ironic that an ad for a product with her name is just above it she had 33 posts maybe you can snoop around and see what else she has written.

Who needs a navigator when we have JACKIE!! :cheer2:

Hey Spotdude where is your minute to minute countdown? :confused3

Goodnight all. I have plenty to do tomorrow and want to get up early. See kTiggerspal, I do go to bed early once in a while.
Shhh..........Peg, Don't tell anyone, but for the last few years or so I have been falling asleep watching TV at 8:30PM then awake at midnight. (It's that over 50 thing, I meant 45 thing.) Then I a doing things online or fold laundry. Then I go right back to bed. Which is what I am going to do in about an hour. Talk to everyone tomorrow

I'm so jealous! I want my documents too! :furious: (not really furious, I just luved this little icon)

It's getting so close. I'm so :hyper:. I'm counting the :hourglass. I can't wait to :sail: so I can :dancer: and party: and :drinking1 and :beach: and :boat: and popcorn:: and most of all :love2: with my :groom: of course, and hopefully not get  (not from my :groom: of course) and definitely not do any :laundy: Oh, I think I'll get :tinker: to spread some magic pixiedust: and make them appear. Or, I could wait 'til the UPS guy :drive: down my street, put on a disguise pirate: and :tiptoe: up to his truck, grab the documents, :car: and make my getaway. Oh, but then the ::cop: would come and I'd never get to :sail:.

O.K. so I have a little insomnia and thought I'd try to see how many of these icons I could get into one post. Anyone care to top it :thumbsup2

Peace all. :hippie: Good night!!
