I have read a little bit on this thread, and a lot more on other threads about Door Signs.
I thought I would try and put one together. I didn't want to do the whole door, but I thought a couple things would be nice. It could help the kids identify our door, and welcome them back to the room at night. I also thought we could add to it a couple of times durring the cruise (like on Pirate Night). However, I spent some time working on it, but had very little success.
I was thinking of taking the graphic of the double dip cruise itinerary, and using that as a base (then we could move a little ship on the sign, as we moved around the ports). Unfortunately, DisneyCruise.com had a graphic for every itinerary, except ours.
I thought about using several pictures of the Ship and
Castaway Cay, but I had problems with that.
I did see examples of different color Mickey heads (the three circles), with ribbons coming down from them, with the kids name on them. I thought I could make one for each kid, but was concerned about having the kids names, posted on the exterior of the door. *** How do you make those three circles anyway?????
So, before I spend more time working on this, has anyone found, or created something, that I (or maybe all us DIS'ers) could use.
It is a busy time of the year now, and this is only a little thing. But let me know what your thoughts are on "door decorating".
