wish we were joining you guys on that repo cruise - but dear sis doesnt have enough vacation time available for us to make that one - maybe if we survive this cruise with all of you we will rejoin you onboard in 2008

Spotdude, we are all anticipating that the schedule will be the same as a regular Western....as our sea days are the same. We're just 'switching out' CC for Key West and Costa Maya for Grand Cayman. I'm really looking forward to the Castaway Club gathering and the cocktails with the Captain. Sure hope excursions or other interesting activities don't conflict with them. Two opportunities for free :drinking1

AND, it looks like the April 8 Western cruise is going to Cosumel! At least DCL was still showing them going there as of yesterday. ::yes:: AND the Royal Dolphin Swim should be back in operation on 6/20 ::yes:: (in the meantime they are schleping people over to the mainland for some dolphin encounter)

OK double dippers, here's a QOTD (question of the day): What shipboard activity are you most looking forward to? (Let's save anything realted to eating and drinking for a separate QOTD.) Besides meeting you all ;) mine is enjoying our verandah...can't wait to check that out!

Oh, I hear my company stirring....off to start another fun vacation day with the sisters!

Welcome Shelly! Our little group just keeps growing and growing!

We have lots of DISers celebrating something on this cruise; birthdays, anniversaries and Spotdude is doing a vow renewal! We are planning a DIS celebration lunch on the Thu sea-day at Lumineres. Details on that will be worked out as we get closer to cruise date.

We are also planning on ordering silicon wrist bands ('Dis' green, of course) so we can 'recognize' fellow DISers. Details on that will also be done about two months out.

Stop by often, as cruise date approaches there will be lots of talk about activities, excursions, packing and just general getting-to-know-you chat. Oh, speaking of chat...we do an AOL/IM chat on Tuesday nights (10PM Eastern) too! If you (that's you as in ANY double-dipper) are interested, you can PM me with your AIM user ID and I'll add you to my buddy list so we can invite you join chat. (Hmmmmm, maybe you should PM GrayFal also...I've missed chat the last couple of weeks.)

Fur sure :hippie: Dude!

is there a limit to the # of Characters you can put in your IM screen name box I can't get it to save my whole screen name it drops the .net to .n ?

Well, mine has TWELVE, so I know it will do at least that many....oh, some of the other Double-dippers have 16-20.

Sorry, can't offer any other technical support to help you out. I will PM you my user name so you can add me to your buddy list when you finally do get registered!

Spotdude....are you trying to use your e-mail address as your IM user name? I don't think that's a good idea (security wise) unless you are never going to go into any chats except with us AND some of us have mentioned that they are AXE MURDERERS! (but carry sparkley lime green DIS axes)

edited to add: I should talk, my IM user name is MY REAL NAME?!?!?!

it is a netscape.net email I thought I need to put the whole thing in I guess not. I haven't checked that email in probuly 5 years. I added it before I canseled AOL

is there a bridge tour for Adults? I know My DD(8) could hve gone on one but were were eating lunch or shopping or something. But I don't remember seeing one for adults?

Hello All! I see you've all been very busy in your lives. I am glad to hear that Wendy's night drama, turned out ok. And I'm looking forward to meeting you all. I have a question for DAVE - I am planning (or will be) our companies Annual Celebration in Lanai next year, at the Grand Hyatt... can you think of any "excursion/event" that would blow their minds? I have a challenge to create something even better than I did for them in St. Croix. That's how I got my job, filling in and doing a good job. It's a long story, but I LOVE my job, and that's why I've not been around. It's taken me YEARS to finally find some good fit with a CEO and tasks that make me want to go to work!

Welcome DUDE! I think it's most romantic you renewing your vows. How long have you been married? I tried reading all the posts, but got distracted (had to cut DH's hair!)

Well, Jackie and and I have been entertaining my eldest SIS Dianne since last Wednesday as you all know. What you don't know - is that when those two get together..."where's Peg?" Yesterday they left me in the Purse section of Dillards and walked off without telling me, THEN locked me in the car (child proof locks in the back seat) and I had to bang on the windows for them to let me out. NOT A GOOD DAY FOR THE "BABY!" Sheesh. I was pissed by the second incident, and stormed off to Starbucks, talking to myself the entire way... "this is the way it is... let it go".

I was fine in a few moments, and we painted pottery - always fun. And the day ended up being wonderful! But the agony of being the "baby" really sucks sometimes. The family drama never ends does it? Oh well, I'm getting better and better about it, but my feelings still get hurt. ANYWAY!!!! It won't be like that on the cruise, cuz when Jackie and I are alone together its a different dynamic. So don't worry! We are a lot of fun together really really we are!:cool1:

These past couple of weeks, I have been unable to walk, because of the knee, but it appears to be getting better, and I've FINALLY gotten on program (eating) so I'm really gung ho NOW about the cruise. I just couldn't NOT see myself having the same LEVEL of fun at this weight. BUT IT WON'T HAPPEN! :cheer2: I'm going to be MY best friend and cheerleader - I CAN DO THIS!!!

Yipee for all of us, what a great big group we'll have - I cannot wait to dine, laugh, tell stories and enjoy you all! Have a great weekend everyone!

We will have been Married 10 years in July, but the last in the last four years we have had several life changing, and trying developments. The Largest being our youngest was diagnosed with CP. After almost dieing from Seizures. We had always planed to renew at 15 but with the thing that we went through, and the strength that me now have a family we decided to do it now. :grouphug:

Welcome Shelly
Ibounce and tiggerspal
Sounds like you ladies have been really busy, keep having fun!!!!! Iboucetoo please dont forget tiggerspal in the car again , she sounded so sad. By the way who is the middle child? I would have thought it was you PeggyJo because you sound like me when I am with my 2 sisters..
What I am most looking foward to is watching the sun rise a set and helping my freinds enjoy their 1st Disney cruise.
Meeting all of you guys will be wonderful and of corse relaxing and CC.
Have a great day :sunny:

:crowded: Middle child here!

And locking TiggersPal in the car was totally an accident....honest.

....waiting on big sister to finish grooming and for DBil to get home from church so we can decide on lunch/movie/dinner arrangement. Gonna see "Inside Man" can't wait!

We were originally booked for the Cruisetoberfest but decided to change so our friends and son can go. Still not 100% sure of our friends but our son is a sure thing, his summer job ends 10/29.
:sunny:

Shelly,
We had to change from Cruisetoberfest too. This will be just as great, except we have to wait almost 4 weeks longer!! :sad2:
We have two boys too - only it looks like you started about a decade before us. Ours are 7 and 5.

Curious: How much did the changing of dates cost you? We booked Cruisetoberfest 18 months in advance and then had to change it in February due to Dh's work conflicts. Luckily, the rates had not gone up SOOO much and after Much Searching and Switching to Costco, we are only paying about $300 more than originally planned. Now, if Dh says he can't go again.... :furious:
