Don't you have Microsoft Outlook, that calendar goes up to 2008... want me to come to LA and show you a few tricks?

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am scheduled to be going in for surgery on Wednesday. I have several large cysts on my right ovary and the doctors have decided that they need to take, at least, the ovary and we'll see what else. Due to size they can't do it with the scope so they will just reopen my C-section scar. I'll be in the hospital for 2-3 days and then at home for about 6 weeks of recuperating.

We'll keep you guys posted once I'm coherent!!!

We'll all be thinking of you. Hope it is a quick recovery. I've been there it was great being home from work for the 6 weeks. I not one to stay in bed for long, two weeks later I was driving 6 hours up to NH to see my son at college. I wasn't suppose to do that, but that's me. You will be okay just get out of bed, as soon as you can, which is the next morning and take a walk around the the room and out to the nurses desk and back. The more walking the faster the recovery. Just take it slow and easy the first day. Make sure you walk with good posture even though you want to walk bent over. Please keep us informed. A little of this can't hurt either.

Hey guys! Thanks for all the prayers and pixie dust.

Surgery went great. They had a backlog on rooms so I got to spend the first 21 hours in the PACU...plenty of "recovery time" in the recovery room!!! Got home this afternoon.

They took the right ovary. Turns out that it was twisted too so it was best that it went bye bye. Ended up having two cysts on the left ovary but they cleaned that all up and the doc said all looked good.

My niece is here helping me out. Jeff's out on the road but was home for the surgery on Wednesday. He'll be home again this weekend but will be gone out of town on Sunday and Monday due to a death of a close friend...poor guy can't get a break.....time for some "strengthening" pixie dust to be sent his way.

I have to go for a recheck in a week but just plan on relaxing at home for the next 6 weeks....

I'll keep everyone posted! Thanks again!
