Didn't see your DD, but my DS cried at breakfast as we got up to say goodbye to our servers, Deepak and Gedings. Gedings, father of three, sweetly walked us out.

On a lighter note, we received so many tag bags and gifts from our AZ aunties and from a certain Toystory character and his lovely wife, that on the drive from LAX, DD enthused, "I wonder if we'll have surprises when we get home!!" Unfortunately, the only surprise at home was that there were NO chocolates waiting for her on her bed...and, well, there was that banana that had been sitting on the counter for the last two weeks...

Carolyn

Was opening the photos (THANKS SURLY) and just started crying... I guess I loved my vacation huh?

I too, am getting a little miffed at the fact that my bed is NOT turned down, no chocolates and NO funny animal towels... poor DH he doesn't even know what I'm talking about cuz he hasn't seen the photos! :rotfl2:

Saw you guys up at Cove Cafe often (it's where DH spent EVERY evening)
Even saw you at Senor Frogs (although my memory of that afternoon/evening is a bit fuzzy!)

Hope your friends are doing okay (DH told me they had to leave the ship)

Sue Ellen
:rotfl: :rotfl: Yea I can't beleive you even remember us there.

Attack of the mushrooms, I ment to get my trip report and updated web site up yesterday. but I bought a chicken cup of soup, and did you know there are shrooms in the vegi pack? I didn't I have never even eaten the vegi pack dried up corn just has neve sounded good. I spent 2.5 hours in the ER last night getting all kids of good drugs. I ever read the the lable but never looked at the picture on the cup right on the front is big old shroom. :thumbsup2 All is well now I should have it up tonight in to tomorrow. I did get a script. 5 epi pens thuogh. :goodvibes
Honstly the worst part was calling my DW to tell her I was in the ER and she need to come get at 2:30 in the morning. Because I was stupid. She was not pleased. Especally sance we started our Diet again and Cup of soup is really bad for you. there is enough salt for a week in that thing, and I bought the jumbo on so that is even better.
Oh does anyone know how to get on the do not call list all the sudden I am getting calles from tele marketers right and left.

Wow Devin...sounds like you had an exciting night! So... as the epi wore off was this you :bounce: Those drugs seem to make me bounce off walls!

Yes I had to turn the cruise on the van this morning just to drop my DD's at there grandmothers house (no school) I kept trying to go faster and I was tail gating people trying to make them go faster. :hyper:

Still the worst part was calling my wife trying to explain why she need to get the kids up at 2:30 she was not happy and I have to work late tonight. Usually on thanks giving I end up covering for some one, I get out about 9 or so to night I have to go in at 7:0 and probably be there till 2:30 or so that was just an added bonus :thumbsup2 When I get home I might just sit in the living the room and watch star wars on cinemax. It might be safer for me... :teeth: she might just see if that epi pen really works and sneak mushrooms on my pillow :rotfl: :rotfl:

Sure wish we would have had more time to get to know your bunch, except for the laundry afternoon!!! Funny that we had that fun, then my sis came in and figured out who you were! So funny. Glad you enjoyed your cruise and it was lovely meeting you and your DH who knows how to do laundry!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl:
yes it was fun meeting with you also. i hope i did not get any husbands into trouble who can not do laundry and help their poor busy wives when needed.lol. :rotfl2: we'll have to meet up sometime in my hometown or yours.

Oh Devin, Devin, Devin  Life is never dull around your house is it?

Thanks for the Kiss The Cook link, I've printed it out and will check it out. We are in the north valley, centrally located, so a jaunt over to 51st is no biggie!

Glad to see you are doing a trip report. One request.....remember paragraphs. It makes it much easier to read if it is broken up with occasionsal double spacing. (Just thinking of my old eyes....has nothing to do with the 'proper' way to do it.....I've not worried about being 'proper' in a loooooooooooong time!)
Back to work for me....we should be getting out early.....Peg and I want to hit a 3:50 movie!!!!

Dee, I'd love a copy of any group photos you have from the meet in the lounge, or the lunch. I have almost 700 photos from our vacation, and the only group ones I have are from the tour. That request goes out to the rest of you I chatted with around the ship as well. I'd love to have a photo of your family to add to our scrapbook. If you PM me, I can give you the e-mail address I regularly check (it is not the one linked to the DIS). Thanks everyone!

From all ears net

Ingredients

3 oz. Light Rum (Suggestion - Malibu or Parrot Bay)
3 oz. Dark Rum (Suggestion - Cruzan Black Strap)
4 oz. Orange Juice
8 oz. Cream of Coconut (Suggestion - Coco Casa)
6 oz. Passion Fruit Juice Concentrate (Suggestion - Welches)
3 oz. Ice

Mix in blender until slushy.

Makes enough to fill a Disney Cruise Line drink glass... and then some!
No wonder I was a little 'light headed' after a few sips....that is quite a bit a BOOZE!

That info about being just enough to fill a DCL glass is a just a might bit incorrect.
That is 27 oz and the DCL beverage glasses do not hold nearly that much (the beer mugs are supposed to be 22 oz)
I would expect the Konk Kooler on the Island to be more likely to have only about 2 oz of liquor in it (if that much based on the way they make those.)
Just my .02 on that.
Sue Ellen

I have some good group photos from the first day. If you PM me a email I will send it out to you.

. . . Once again thanks to all. It will be a vacation the Barczak family remembers forever. Can't say enough good things about everyone.

. . . Happy Thanksgiving to All. I have a lot to be thankful for and meeting all of you is near the top of the list.

Well put. Our sentiments exactly.

. . . The boas were fun in the port too! One gal in our group was told by the security gal with a dog (where you check your bags with the porters) to "be prepared for some really strange people cruising this week. There must be about 20 or more ladies walking around in green boas." My friend replied, "great, my boa is in my bag... I'll have to go ahead and get it out!" . . .
Too funny!

. . . Woody thanks for the lime green bag and magnet. Totally not necessary. . .
You're welcome. The bag matches the boa, too!

. . . With much difficulty, we did rebook onboard, for 11/10/07. Leslie said there were many who rebooked for that date. I'll have to start researching--we've been on two Western's, so we're looking forward to trying an Eastern. . .
Glad you are joining us on 11/10/07. We like the Eastern more than the Western -- unless it is a Double Dip.

Our towels at home are folded in the shape of Wyoming.

Come on Woody, if you try hard you can fold them into North or South Dakota as well (and this is coming from a folding impaired individual). :goodvibes
