I am going through serious pcd (post cruise depression). My office phone starting ringing at 8:15 am and I had 74 emails to read through. The worst part is everyone asking me how my cruise was. It was so great that I want to be back on the ship. I am coming around slowly though. I am really glad this is a short work week. Turkey on Thursday, Yeah!!

I look forward to the moments when someone stops by my office and asks about the cruise - I get to re-live it each time!!!

I had a dream last night about being on the cruise and when I woke up in the middle of the night I got very very sad...

I don't think I've EVER had a better vacation... and I know a huge part of it was because of the DOUBLE DIP DIS TEAM!

I had so many things that I wanted to do and didn't do even 1/8 of them. I was so tired every night that I only stayed up Pirate night for the party and the dessert buffet which I was close to the front of the line lol!

Highlights were our Costa Maya excursion with David and Clan and the tour of the Walt suite, Cozumel's Paradise Beach was awesome!!!

I understand from "sources" that my DS15 made a new "friend" although whenever I have asked him about it he has turned every shade between red and purple.

How many re-booked using the April 26, 2008 cruise as a 'base' date? I wonder if the rates for that date will be driven up because it's the last date offered at this time? Seems kind of unfair for the folks who are REALLY sailing then. I worry about these things.

Oh, Tracey, I have NO character photos, so can't help with the Snow White project. Maybe you should try posting a thread on the regular forum. It's possible the same CM has been around for several cruises and someone may have a shot of her.

yes Peggy he's the one. I asked him about it again and he said that it wasn't her mom that saw them but another teen. I told him that he better had been and continue to be respectful or else he was dead meat (this was the day after the "incident") he was just shocked that I knew at all.........poor kid thought that if we were on a ship that he could do something without my finding out.......

We did meet quickly at the meet but it was a fast hi just before the group pic I think. We were the family wearing the matching POTC green tye dye shirts.

My Mom is headed home tomorrow so I need to get off the puter and grab a new box of tissues for the a.m.

Thanks to all who added to my experience.

Disney made it over the top when they let my sister blow the horn. If that was not enough, they let her be the last one off CC. In fact they had security drag her off. What a funny photo op.

Today we had our first walk through on our new house. While on the second floor porch, I was gazing at the beautiful blue sky and for a moment felt like I was at sea again. I am really going to enjoy the porch. I am going get some hot chocolate and sit out there and dream.

I am grateful that I have only nine months to wait for our next cruise. We also rebooked for 4/5/2008 with the plan to change it to November 08. It will no doubt be an eastern, unless they continue to offer the dbl dip and then and only then would I do another western.

My bill was high becasue of shore excursions and Palo. I was very lucky to go to Palo 4 times (thanks for the invites). I did buy 3 "Twice the Magic" hats for DH, DS and DDIL. I wish they had had a special pin. Other than that I did not spend any money. I did not spend a dime at either stops. In fact I was pleased that all my expenses were covered by on board credit and Disney points. Now I need to rack up some more points for the repo cruise.

Well it is off to bed for me. Laundry is done and all but one suit case is unpacked. Now it is time to re-pack so I can move out. I was given a two week notice when we got off the ship (before we even left the port, geesh some landlord eh?) so I need to get ready.

We may make the 6000 post goal. Have a great week and an very Thankful Thanksgiving.

Awwwwwww! Looks like PJ and I will have to find the best Eggs Benedict in Phoenix so we can have some again in February. Won't be quite the same as on the ship though, will it?

I've decided to go ahead and take Friday off as I'll still have 2 1/2 days to use up in December.....hmmmmmm......sounds like a long weekend at DISNEYLAND would be a good use of those. Wonder if I can find some spare change lying around to cover a couple of days of park hopping???????

Dee, please share the Castaway Cay 'eviction' photos if Win approves them. I bet they are a hoot! Your second level porch sounds delightful, I hope it brings you much pleasure and sounds like a nice spot to rest up after all the moving of three households!

Anyone have the recipe for those Konk Koolers? Hottie LOVED 'em. Even I, who at age 41 has never consumed a full glass of anything alcoholic, had a whole one! And Hottie got it on video for posterity!
So recipe, or a fascimile thereof, would be much appreciated....

Ingredients


3 oz. Light Rum (Suggestion - Malibu or Parrot Bay)
3 oz. Dark Rum (Suggestion - Cruzan Black Strap)
4 oz. Orange Juice
8 oz. Cream of Coconut (Suggestion - Coco Casa)
6 oz. Passion Fruit Juice Concentrate (Suggestion - Welches)
3 oz. Ice

Mix in blender until slushy.

Makes enough to fill a Disney Cruise Line drink glass... and then some!
