Any one want some Long Island Ice Tea and Mississippi Mud(Brownies)
they are so good . Just wish they did not stick to my hips.
:surfweb:

You are so funny. Drinks yes, brownies no. Once I start drinking I lose my appetite. Guess I should drink my pounds off. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Welcome Jud....look for lime green wrist bands and feather boas and you'll find us in the terminal and on the ship! Please say "Hi" and introduce yourself!

Wendy, no e-mail from David & Ivan....maybe they just sent it to you because your are our 'spokesperson' :confused3 I imagine it would take them a while to e-mail everyone, as they don't have internet access all the time, I believe.

Do you think anyone in their right mind is going to come up to us in our green boas and talk to us? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Hi again-

I may be wrong, so please correct me. This is what other doubles dips seem to have had:

Sunday - CC
Monday - At Sea- Formal night
Tues - Costa Maya
Wed - Coz - Pirate Party
Thurs - At Sea - Semi Formal
Friday - CC double dip!
Sat - chain self and family to Captain Mickey statue, swallow key

Welcome :welcome: Regarding that last item on your list, I almost did that on the last cruise I was on. Tried to think of ways to stay like calling work and giving my two weeks notice and working on the ship. I could do that, yes I could.

Oh, Jackie! Swooon!!!! Colin Firth!! My Hottie Husband knows he is the ONLY man I would ever leave him for (well, okay, maybe him and HUGH GRANT!) My lord, I try to watch Bridget Jones' Diary as often as possible because I get BOTH of them for two hours. Sigh.....
And Mr. Darcy on Pride and Prejudice. Don't even get me started.....
What does that say about me? I'm a Mississippi redneck, married to a German, lusting after two Brits...

My, My, My....has this southern belle gone astray? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Good Morning everyone :sunny: Hope you all have a great day.

All your well wished have done the trick. I am well. No sore throat, finally no headache today, and not blah feeling. Just sound a little coldish, if there is such a word. Anyway I thank you all. Hope everyone else that is sick will be feeling better. Now I have to make up for lost sick time both at work and trip planning.

Drank a little too much at the Single Digits Party, party: :rockband: :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 but had a great time with you all.

At the rate we are going I think we will hit the 5500 mark easy. So Jack as PoohLuvsFigment has said many times, "Where are youuuuuu"? Heads up for the 5500, Jack!! We'll be cheering you on! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Up pretty late there aren't we. I'm actually going to bed. It is 1:34am my time and I should get some rest as I am feeling great. 5:30am comes pretty quick. Have a great night.

We just signed our DIS names on the tag bags. Hope that's ok, as that bag is packed and I don't think I want to open it up again. It might explode!

And, Devin, we just put stuff our kids liked, so figured other kids would like, too. We're planning on picking up something sweet to put in there, too, while we're in Orlando. (Of course, we've never played DIS tag, so I don't know the protocol!)

Carolyn (did I mention today? Only 4 more nights!!)
thanks
Devin

Good question. I thought about that too. I guess by putting your name as the giver lets the receiver know they've been tagged and by who. Am I on the right track those of you that have experience with this? :confused3

By the way Spotdude asked a question about what to put into the tag bags and no one answered him. I'm just putting in things I thought someone might need and have forgotten to pack and some little snacks. Hope this helps! Does anyone have any other suggestions they can stir up? :stir:
thanks
Devin

Good Morning cruisemates,

Looks like I missed a great party last night. Had to work, then fell right out when I got home. Re: distag, we put our dis name on the tags. Also, no e-mail confirmation from Ivan, but it sounds like Vanvmom got the confirmation for everyone.

Well, we'll be finishing packing today and loading the car for our 17 hour drive. We leave tomorrow, 3 am. Not sure I will have time to check in later, so wishing everyone safe travels and smooth sailing!!

We won't have internet access for the next 2 weeks, I'm sure I'll miss alot, but I'm also sure you all will definately pass the 5500 goal!! Good Luck!

Can't wait to meet you all. See you 11/11, Promenade Lounge!! party:

Have a safe journey!!

Good Morning!

Boy you all were up late last night! Yesterday was me and DH's 10th anniversary and after the kids went to school we hit Epcot for a few hours. Made the mistake of starting in Canada and was full by Morocco! Of course I still had room for a margarita in Mexico! DH hadn't been to the F&W yet this year so he enjoyed himself. We are taking my mom next friday so she can pack on a few pre cruise pounds as well.

Dee, I've had acrylic nails for years and when I looked into gels here in FL I was told that due to the sun exposure they turn yellow here (if you wear french or clear) so I've stuck with acrylics. For the short time you will be exposed you should be fine.

Jackie, we are doing the DCL ruin tour since you all were booked up so please don't :moped: me over as we get off the ship :goodvibes . I think our tour meets at 8:15.

good morning all!

i just wanted to take a minute or two to do my part over here - big doings going on this weekend

- have to pick up all dry cleaning
- and finally (hopefully) going to walmart for all "last minute" items

i am sure that is not everything - but - i did take off thurs - just in case - our ride to the airport will be at our place at 5am on 11.10 and then off to florida we go!

enjoy your weekend all!

Eight days to go!!!!!! :sunny:
Happy belated Birthday Wendy and happy anniversary mom2of2!!!

Just wanted to let some of you know the Fla weather report(since some are going to WDW prior to cruising) We have had crazy weather breaking record highs then breaking record lows. This weekend will be cool (75) and windy!!You definetly need to wear layers these days. Although I am sure that our northern friends wont be needing there warmer sweaters like us southern living folks do!This morning weather forcast said a cold front moved through its down to 62. It still makes me :rotfl2: cold at 62.

Hey everyone!

If you're looking for a little activity for your kids to do while you're travelling, Toy's R Us has the great things called "Magnetic Scenes" by Crayola. In it there are different pictures that you color with the enclosed pencil crayons. Then the pictures separate to form individual magnets. They have different themes (we chose Disney Princess and Cars) so nobody on deck 8 pick those :rotfl: . They are quite small but it would be a fun way to let your kids contribute to decorating your stateroom door. It should also provide us with about 10 min. of sanity on the flight. :thumbsup2

One note... be sure to put and identifying mark ie; stateroom # in small print on any magnets you put on your door and bring them in at night. I read that late at night there have occasionally been gremlins :tiptoe: that swipe them off the door if you leave them out.

Happy coloring!

Tracey
