Hi- We are planning to joing the Nov 11 cruise and I have just been trying to catch up on 5000+ posts!

I have one question, I am sure it has been answered, but the search function does not seem to be working for me.

Do we know when the formal/semi formal nights will be, and when the pirate party is? I am not sure how it works on a 'double dip' cruise. This has probably been answered 50 times, but I just can't find it!!!

Thanks and sorry for a repeat question. Hope to see you all in a few days!

-Jud :woohoo:

Hi again-

I may be wrong, so please correct me. This is what other doubles dips seem to have had:

Sunday - CC
Monday - At Sea- Formal night
Tues - Costa Maya
Wed - Coz - Pirate Party
Thurs - At Sea - Semi Formal

Oh, Jackie! Swooon!!!! Colin Firth!! My Hottie Husband knows he is the ONLY man I would ever leave him for (well, okay, maybe him and HUGH GRANT!) My lord, I try to watch Bridget Jones' Diary as often as possible because I get BOTH of them for two hours. Sigh.....
And Mr. Darcy on Pride and Prejudice. Don't even get me started.....
What does that say about me? I'm a Mississippi redneck, married to a German, lusting after two Brits...

Okay, as "spokeswoman" for the Costa Maya trip...

Our HUGE group is to meet at the port 1 hour after the ship docks. If you were on my original list you are part of the "confirmed" group. Ivan says:
"I just wanted to touch base with you to let you know that we are still holding your resevation as confirmed and that we will looking forward to meeting all of you on Tuesday, November 14th.

We have programmed our tour to start one hour after the ship docks or as soon as everyone in your party is ready."

Please send him an e-mail if you have changed your mind, or if you want to confirm that you are on that list.

That is so worth the time and money. I went with the 2 DD's on our first trip. They talked me into upgrading and it was the best thing we ever did.
they would not go without me, I still remember the fun and I also bought
the pictures and video. We have looked at them several times since we
sailed in 2003 :)

I just rewatched the whole A&E Pride and Prejudice a few weeks ago. I just love 'the look'.

However, my second Brit of choice is Alan Rickman

That VOICE!
Don't tell Patrick Stewart, though, he thought he was #2.

Wendy glad we have one hour after docking....as I didn't want to have to TRAMPLE the DCL tour groups.

I skip the boards one night, and there's a gazillon posts. Now I'm finally caught up.

Last night I went to a concert. It was the 40th anniversary tribute to a landmark album.

Music trivia question: What is the name of the album?

WendyJersey, no jelly fish at Discovery Cove.

Carolyn, yes, Sarah did swim with the dolphins, kinda/sorta. She was afraid of the water, so she petted the dolpin, then went and sat on the beach. One of the lifegaurds was nice and gave her a jacket to wear, it was very cool that day.

Peg, you will have so much fun with the dolphins. :goodvibes

This is the thumbnail pic of all of us with Akai. You can't see the terrified look on Sarah's face too well. ;)

Edited to add, it wasn't Akai, it was Aries in this picture.

Your pics are great. Must be a great dolphin as that's my Zodiac sign. :woohoo:

Pat, I told Ed about Artist Point, and he said "oooo, I think I will order something expensive...oh wait, it's all expensive" LOL! Expensive but soooo goooodddd!

Thought I would throw in this beautiful picture of the Magic, taken from the tender in Grand Cayman.

Look at that tiny tiny boat along side that big ship.

Jackie,
Not into Alan Rickman, although I did really like him in Love, Actually--found him mildly enticing there. (But I watch it for the Colin!)
I just an hour ago watched American Dreamz. Rented it to get my Hugh Grant fix. Not a great movie, but I'd could watch him in anything. And do!
Pride and Prejudice....can sit for four straight hours watching without knowing the outside world exists. Just a beautiful, beautiful production.

I one thing to think about once you start having them done it will be forever. I was getting gel nails back in NY when I moved I did not want to keep up with it anymore. It took a good 6 months to a year to have decent nails.Have you ever tried Sally Hansen hards has nails? Its like $3 and really helps make you nails strong. You can find it at any drug store.

My nails were fine after I stopped doing them, but again I have never had gels so I really don't know if I can actually compare with what you are talking about, but I took them off myself as carefully as possible. Yes the nails were very soft for about two or three days, but after that they started to become hard again. I guess being covered does that to them. But you are right, Michelle, the best bet if you don't want to be bothered with them every two weeks, is to use the Sally Hansen. It does the trick real fast by making them look good and protecting them. Personally I only go once a month unless I have something special to go to. I never use wild colors on my nails so I'm able to go a long time even though they grow very fast. Wished my hair grew as fast as my nails.

"Love, Actually" is a brilliant movie.

Saw Alan Rickman perform on Broadway. He totally captivated the audience.
