Got the newsletter in draft form, waiting for one photo, one article but all is laid out and spell checked. The list are exported for the mail house - Now I need to make copies for the CLC meeting tomorrow and then I"M HOME FREE!!!! Next week will be a breeze and I'll be champing at the bit so to speak!!!

I'll actually have my stuff packed this weekend but just remembered that I haven't had my HUGE Bell bottom pants hemmed...better get them to the alterations guy!

Okay ladies here is a senseless post. I normally have long strong fingernails. I trimmed them back when I went to Vegas so they would be long again for the cruise. Well, since I have been back all they have done is peel and break. Now they are different sizes and look terrible. Does any of you do gels? Do they hold up if I go swiming and snorkeling. I am leary as thay file your nails and I fear that will only make them weaker.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

And for those with colds...try Zicam. It is an immunity boost- mostly zinc. Really works great to shorten the duration.

I might actually be able to get away with it once. My DW has a pretty good since of humor. About three years ago I really wanted a impala (old cop car looking one) and I was looking on EBay and found one in NJ (250miles away) for $850 so I went and rented a tow dolly from Uhaul and kept my girls out of school and went and bought it. at about 9:30 I was almost home when I got pulled over no registration on the car that I was towing no lights and two kids in the van I called her and told her she might need to come pick up the girls from the Sturbridge police station I think I am getting arrested. She found NO HUMOR in that
I actually was able to sleep in the bed that night. That was when I knew I had a keeper

You may want to call the company and get a tracking number. My kids came in last Thursday with 2 envelopes that they found in the bushes. Apparently UPS guy just left them on our porch on a very windy day and they blew into the bushes.

Reading some of the other posts, it sounds like a lot of people's were just left on the porch.

We're only about 45 minutes from the port so it'll probably be a close call between us and mom2of2! At least it gives me lots of time to pack but I'm so jealous of all of you getting ready sooner.

ok, My mom just sent me yet another "cruise box" filled with stuff. Her latest treasure? DIStag stuff! We will be using the POTC goodie bags and putting stuff in them. I figured they would work out the best. What are you all using for name tags? are you putting the person's name and then yours?
