I think i've finally convinced DH that he IS going no matter how many times he says no

Yikes I just saw you are from Martha's Vineyard. Good luck today! I thought it was bad being in SouthEast Mass, but the vineyard is worse. Good luck and see you in a week.

We're up to 60 MPH now, on and off heavy rain. Power is out on most of the island and tree are down everywhere. We one of the lucky one's that have power, but who knows for how long. Looking fo that FAST FWD botton to get to next Saturday. My DS(15) picked today to do his ironing and packing as well, only because none of his friends have internet because the power is out.

I HATE PACKING!!!

Thanks, just had to vent.

Let's see, I'm three hours into packing. I have DD done; she was easy. She has her favorite things she likes to wear and everything in her closet fits -- we are moving next spring and we cleaned out her closet really well a few weeks ago.

I had to have both sons try things on -- you'd think it was torture to put on a few shirts and pairs of pants!!!! One of them had a big growth spurt at the end of the summer and I'm going to have to buy him some new clothes tomorrow, or you all will get tired of seeing him in the two polo shirts that still fit! I'm trying to be really careful about keeping track of what I pack for them and what they still need -- be it new or in the loads of laundry I'm currently doing. One of my sons must be selling his socks at school or something, because no matter how many I buy for him, he only seems to have 3 pairs in his drawer.

Haven't even started on my clothes yet, but I have a good list and have gathered most of the miscellaneous stuff together, so I guess that's something.

DH is on his own. Well, I did make a list for him. He always waits until the last minute, which I could never do, but it always works out fine for him.

I hope you are all enjoying packing more than I am. I'm told some people actually like it.

I had trouble finding it--our office supply store did not have it, and I couldn't find it at Target, either. Finally found it last night at Hobby Lobby, in a weird place -- I can't even describe what "department" it was in, it seemed really random. Good luck!!!!

i may just print lamenate and then put small magnets on it.


UM vs. MSU game is making very UPSET right now....doesn't help that i've had a girlie drink (i have NO tolerance and just one makes me tipsy)

The Dr. Prescribed Zithromax so I can be done in 5 days. Zithromax is kind of hard on my stomach and I am feeling little stabs every now an then. The Dr. also said I had a lot of fluid in my right ear. That would feel great on the plane! Ouch! You know that moms can't be sick right? I am trying to clean up a little and put Halloween stuff away and get to my mounds of laundry.

I am praying that no one gets any storm damage!

I am having a hard time wrapping my hands around the packing issue. I am really not going to go at it until Monday. I don't know why. Well, maybe I do. I am getting depressed about everyone feeling sickly. My husband is gloating about what he said when I booked the cruise. He said, "We are always sick in the Fall. It's not a good idea." Susan came home from the swim meet coughing. Maybe we aren't going for the second meet session tomorrow morning.

I did get to the bank today and got my singles and roll of quarters.

i don't have pictures of me in them But i've pretty much decided on the red....mostly b/c i want to take christmas pictures with DH in front of the tree if it's up


I need to find a tie he likes that matches tho. So far all I have packed for him is his suit, swim trunks, and some polo shirts. He's not very helpful

My DH said almost the same thing when we booked this trip. But, with 3 kids(4 for you), someone's bound to be sick pretty much whenever there's a big event, right? Don't worry , we've all been fighting this cold thing. You still have 6 days to get evryone feeling ship-shape.

SIngles and quarters are on my to-do list for Monday! Feel better!!!!!

Hey all,

I've been out half the day getting last minute things for the trip and for DS's birthday party tomorrow. He's still coughing up a storm, I hope he's better by the trip. I've also been doing laundry like a maniac and have Connor and I halfway packed. I've got two pics uploaded into photobucket but now need to figure out how to post them here. Will try it after Connors asleep.

Dh is away again at our horse ranch. I'm stuck with all 4 kids. What a busy, hetic day. Now if I can get though tomorrow.
Monday, I will take out the suitcases and start packing. I can't believe its next weekend.
