Greetings Everyone


Its been weeks since I have posted. Life has caught us by surprise. The place I was managing has relocated and closed so I have found myself looking for a job. Its a place I never been before.

Welcome to all the new additions to our group... and hope that all is well with everyone else...

I cant wait to meet everyone and release some stress on this vacation.

I am just starting to pack we leave next Friday and will be staying at the Hyatt also.

WOW! If I had known what a hot spot the Hyatt was going to be, I would have booked a room there.

We are staying at the Radisson at Port Canaveral. DH thought it would be easier in the A.M. getting to the terminal. Looks like they have a nice pool for the kiddies. Anyone else staying there?

We're staying at the Radisson too. I plan to spend most of the day at the pool - we're supposed to arrive around lunchtime if all goes well.

Is anyone else goin' for rebooking onboard? If you are, I highly recommend you do it early in the cruise cause last year was a nightmare waiting in line and not enough DCL resources to make it smooth.

We are so rebooking aboard - I figure we'll be down there the first day at sea!!
My DH is excited about the rebook... as I am... so we're getting it done early so we can relax about it the rest of the trip!!

Then again, we'll probably be moving the rebook to 2009 once the dates come out... unless I can convince him that we can somehow afford Dec 08 AND a special Summer 09 itin! lol

How you people keep up with this thread, the main board, packing, getting ready, and doing all the little stuff PLUS regular life is beyond me, lol!!!

I keep thinking "dang it! I'm going to either miss something on the board, or forget something important that I need to pack!"

We are definately rebooking too! I'm looking for '09 dates, the last time we cruised in 11/05, the '07 dates had just come out and we were able to book this trip.

Well, we are up to SIX families who were on the Nov. '06 Double Dip! Our DFriends who are joining us also cruised with us last year. So did flymv, with whom we all had adjoining verandas.

I believe there are several other people too. When we stood on those long, long lines last year to rebook...the price of this weeks cruise actually went up while we were onboard because so many people rebooked for the same week. We'll probably recognize several people on the ship. I have the cruise photo from the meet in the Promenade Lounge last year that Jason took. I would post it, but it's beyond my computer capabilities (I would need to ask one of the kids for help .)

Laid back, pack at the last second DH actually did some of his laundry today for the cruise . He doesn't like the way I do his shirts.

We're staying at the Doubletree in Cocoa Beach the night before the cruise. Anyone else?

Poll time! Do you have early or late seating? We have late, and are hoping for LAPLAPL rotation. Looking at everyone's kids ages, it looks like we'll get it. Just wondering who we'll be dining with. Last year we had a table for 4, because the ship was so empty. We're hoping to have dining partners this year.

We have early seating and I would like to start at Parrots Cay. That was what we had last year and it worked out well for us. Dinner was at 5:45 which is about what time we eat at home.

Although I just realized that we're only going to be an hour off due to the end of DST this weekend...
Ah well... still - we normally do a 6:30 dinner, which is 8:30 Eastern/Ship time, so that works out best for us.

I have no idea what rotation we'll get, but since we're doing Palo night 4 - we'll get 2 of everything!
