November 10, 2007 - MAGIC - Eastern

Sounds good! Are we also having a meet the first day of the cruise? Just a quickie before the drill. It's always so nice to put faces with board names. And then to start recognizing everyone around the ship.

Is everyone good with the 3 o'clock thingy by the pool?

Ok first meet on day 1 near the pool at 3 O'clock.

What should we have on us to recognize each other????

Which pool ? The adult area ?

How about Madi gras beads?

:tigger:
Lynnie

Thats a good one! It as the be the kids pool or anywhere else, but not the adult area otherwise the cruisers with kids won't be able to come....

What's a Madi gras beads??? Do you have a picture of it???

I'd give it a less than 10% chance we'll make it the first day at 3pm... unless you are talking first day at sea, and not embarkation day?

Getting aboard the ship and getting things ready before the drill is challenging enough for us!! :P

But if we're talking Sunday at sea, that's a different matter!

Personally, I think we need to wait to set the time until we get a glimpse of Navigators for the Eastern from this month or next month...

We don't really need to set the time 2 months in advance without knowing what is going on, do we??:rotfl:

I think a quick meet the first day by the Mickey or Goofy pool is a good idea expecially those of us with kids who are hanging around the pool anyways. If others can't make it we will have our formal meet on day three (2nd day at sea).

I got my for childrens passports in just under 3 weeks! Can you believe it? I feel such a sense of relief so that they are covered in the event of an emergency!

I'm up for a quick meet on embarkation day at 3pm by the goofy pool for some us with kids to meet. We will at least try and make it with our 8 year old (if were not hanging by the pool already. (which is what i'm hoping).

And it sounds good to wait for the navigators before we set a time for the "tours". Even though I know we are planners....i think i can manage waiting a few more days before we set the time. Hee hee! :rotfl2: I'm hoping the time doesn't interfere with my spa time in the afternoon though! :) Although depending upon the time Woody I may need to take our room of the tours, since my kids may need a nap by then.

How about having the Stateroom Tour at 1:30 (after lunch), and the Wine Party at 3:00?

Woody

Well, honestly? I won't commit to a tour until I can see what's going on with the 4 y.o.'s schedule... because in the end, this vacation for us is all about her... so I guess I'll have to wait to see what the Navigators say is likely going on then if we're going to go ahead and set it 2 months in advance... :(

I may have to take the CAT7 out of the list of options if there's a conflict... but I'd catch it from my husband if I kept DD from something because of it

Hopefully it all works out okay!!

But can I ask why we're so gung-ho about setting times this far out??:goodvibes

If we meet at 3 o clock, what time is the security drill????
The drill is at 4:00.

On our last several cruises, we met near a pool or at Promenade Lounge. There's enough time for some quick hellos and to put names with faces.

Woody

I'm totally fine waiting... no worries here! :) Just am trying to not miss it by being at my spa ressie during that time. But i'm fine w/ waiting....

Ok, what is taking people so long to upload the latest Eastern navigators?? they've been off the ship for a whole day already! :lmao:

Trisha,

Sorry it's taken me so long to post a reply - I meant to send you a thank you right away and got distracted and forgot. Thanks for explaining how to quote and also for the fish extender explanation. I tried to quote here, but it said my post count is too low, so apparently I'm not allowed to quote.

Thanks also to Cheryl (Purple Princess) for hooking me up with an Ebay seller (another Diser) - I now have my very own Fish Extender - YAY! Now the search will be on for little "gifts" for our fellow cruisers.

I'm with Stimpy - I'm dying to see the latest Navigators!

Michele

Can someone PM me the ebay sellers name? I actually thought about making my own fish extender then remembered that I'm lucky if I can sew on a button :lmao:
