We are booked on the 10 am shuttle to the port! We arrive at MCO at Noon on Friday and plan on laying by that beautiful pool all afternoon....

Is anyone else planning . . . to rebook onboard? I am thinking/hoping to do this while onboard for Halloween or Thanksgiving next year.

. . . It is much more affordable to go at Halloween and a double dip would be too cool but ya gotta wonder if Costa Maya will even be recovered by then.

We were on the Nov. 2006 Double Dip, and booked the Oct. 2008 Halloween/Double Dip. This was before the hurricane hit Costa Maya, and are curious to see how long it takes to rebuild the port.

I would love to rebook on board, but at this point it doesn't look good. Between the cost of this vacation, and the cost of our WDW vacation in March 08, I doubt my husband will go for it. But I am hoping DH has such a good time on this cruise that he can't resist!

Also, for those of you who gave me advice as to how to handle the flight time change to 8am, we found a hotel that has a park and fly option (including shuttle) for $105, so I booked that for Thursday night! Since we would have paid $55 to park at the airport, it was only $50 bucks more for the hotel! We will now be at the Radisson by around lunchtime on Friday! So we'll see jjgarv by the pool Friday afternoon. Anyone else?

I called to see if they had any connecting 9 rooms off of deck 1 but they didn't. Oh well. We'll still have a great time.

Yes - If they release the rooms for the new ships AND I win bingo AND ( do they sell powerball tickets at the port ? ).....

Probably not - we're doing Panama next year, can only give the mouse so much at a time....

i wish we were rebooking a 2nd cruise while on board but it isn't going to happen this time. we do hope to do a cruise again in a few years time.

I'm secretly hoping that my DH will be so enamored with the cruise that he will let us rebook for a Mexico cruise leaving out of California. That would be much more affordable for us - but i guess the word "affordable" is relative - travelling with 6 isn't what i'd call affordable 3 years ago, before the arrival of my triplets!

Come on families.....where on Earth is everyone? You would think this board would be hopping at 5 weeks out! Did anyone ready the posting about the rough seas of the sailing that just got back? Gosh I hope the seas are much calmer when we go! I will be sure to get all the sea sickness stuff and start taking it on Friday before we leave!
We are all sick with colds right now so no more sickies from here on out. I hae got 2 kids at home now and just hoping that this is the end and no one else gets sick.

Monday is columbus Day Holiday here in the States and the Kids are off from school! Last year this week were were in Orlando and the weather was AWESOME.....

My son has a cold too - I'm hoping that's all we deal with from now until after the cruise. He tends to get sick on holidays - Thanksgiving and Christmas are never pleasant for us - so I'm praying he sticks to that pattern (nice, huh?) so that we don't have to deal with illness this cruise.

Is anyone else getting flu shots? My pediatrician just let us know she has them in the office, but DS has to be 100% before he can have it. I'm hoping he can get it next week so that we have one less thing to worry about this year.

Is everyone done with their cruise shopping/magnet making? I'm still working on magnets and have come to the conclusion that I am terrible at it. I did have one made for me so at least we'll have something on our door. In addition, I have virtually no clothes for the cruise. Guess I'd better get shopping!
