The youngest kiddo was reading over my shoulder last night.

I didn't know she was there.

She asked her Daddy if we could go on a cruise in 7 days

Me thinks I have been found out

I won't be on the dis when she's in the room. We have always called her the stealth baby. After she outgrew her crib (she was a climber) we found her in our bed without EITHER of us knowing it a # of times. She was so tiny (a preemie at that) that she could get into our bed w/out us knowing until one of us almost rolled over her.

Now I have to do ALL my dising while she is in school or outside.

Hey, if she finds out, it WILL be so much easier. I won't lie to them if they ask me straight out.

Hey, if we do find out, I won't have to keep the secret any more.

You know, I am ABOUT READY TO BURST keeping this a secret.

If you think there is any chance of going on another cruise in the next few years, rebook onboard! It saves you $ and you can always change the date. We kicked ourselves for not rebooking on our first cruise. 2 months after we got off the ship we had another cruise booked--and we didn't get the $200 credit plus 10% off. We learned our lesson and have rebooked each time since.

And about the white thing- I think that only applies to where it's cold. I am definitely packing my white capris and shorts!! It's cruisewear!!!

I was out shopping at ACMoore for the craftfair today with my co-chair, Barbara. Our day was like this:

B-I think we need more fabric paint

E-Wow! Look at this spray paint- it makes cool tiedyes- we made Mickey tie dyes for our cruise!

B-Let's look in the holiday crafts for stamps for the napkins....

E- Hey! I need more of this stuff over here for the FE exchange on our cruise!

B- Let's get some glitter for the dreidel craft...

E- Look at the glittery Disney stickers! Did I tell you one of my cruisemates got a Cricut and made stuff for me, too?

B-We should get more paint pens for the ceramic frogs...

E- Hey! When we're done here, wanna stop at Home Depot and get some Mickey paint heads for my cruise cabin door?

B-I can't wait for November 8th!

Some people just don't understand how exciting a Disney Cruise is.

I finally got my suitcases out today so I can start packing. I've been wanting to for a while, but this week I've had to take it a day at a time. Tuesday we took a bunch of blankets I made up to the NICU in celebration of DD's birthday, last night I had a dozen ladies over to my house for a Christmas card class. Now I can finally focus on the cruise. It is a whole new adventure trying to pack for a baby too (this is our first trip since she was born).

Some people just don't understand how exciting a Disney Cruise is.

I finally got my suitcases out today so I can start packing. I've been wanting to for a while, but this week I've had to take it a day at a time. Tuesday we took a bunch of blankets I made up to the NICU in celebration of DD's birthday, last night I had a dozen ladies over to my house for a Christmas card class. Now I can finally focus on the cruise. It is a whole new adventure trying to pack for a baby too (this is our first trip since she was born).

We stamped the cards (I'm a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator) so I do a class like this every year. I told DH that I hoped nothing traumatic would happen today (the day after my class) because last year I went to the hospital and had DD the day after my class.

I went to JoAnn's today because wanted to take advantage of a 50% coupon. I found some Disney flannel and decided that since I'll need to bring a couple blankets for DD, she needs to have a Disney blanket. One more thing to get done before the cruise.

Can you use Walkie talkies on the cruise to communicate with your kids? I think there will be times when we will be separated from them (they are 11&12) and we might want to just say, "where are you". Is this safe to let some pretty responsible 11& 12 year olds on the ship alone. Don't know how to approach this. Would feel better if we could give them our phone and talk to them. Otherwise I am going to have to be with them the whole week.

Any advice?

I do like the idea of the white board in the room. What about leaving messages on the cabin phones. Is there a way to retrieve a message for you cabin from another ship phone? Thanks!

You can bring walkie talkies on board, but because of the large amounts of metal used to construct the ship, there are "dead" spots where you won't get reception.
(according to the info section of the DCL website as to what you can and can't bring)

I don't know if you can access your voice mail from other phones though.

I have 2 more days of work!!! I am really wondering WHY I thought working on Monday was a good idea. I don't NEED the day off, but it's certainly not going to be very productive
