DS14 has been tormenting DS7 with watching all versions of "Jaws" and told him that if he goes swimming in the Gulf that's what will happen...needless to say DS7 told DS14 that he is bigger bait and will be a better meal so he'll go first all the while he's swimming to shore... I love it when the little brother gets one over on the older one....this is going to be a very long and interesting trip with those two.

We land at 11:37 on Delta out of JFK on Friday, hope we're a little early- maybe we'll see you at baggage pick up! What airline are you coming in on? Then we're catching the ME to AKV, our first (although VERY quick!) trip "home"- I'm very excited about it ALL!!!!! Then we're hanging by the pool and looking for green wristbands, then having an early dinner at Boma and going to MNSSHP, where I'll be looking for green wristbands! Last night after a Southern Living party, I was reviewing the Passporter's Cruise Clues I downloaded months and months ago....soooo many great tips, I started making a list that i can't wait to check off!

5. check formal & semi formal dresses for girls for a good fit

6. decide what dh & I will wear for formal & semi-formal nights.

7. purchase over the door organizer

8. purchase or bring clock so I can see the time at night

9. pack OTC meds for all (it's great lots of meds are chewable tabs or wafers)

10. finish online check in & fix mistake & print ~ DONE

how can 4 weeks seem like an eternity and at the same time see like 4 days???

Still have so much to do...fe gifts, although my mom did get my fe finished.. ...cruise docs to receive...suitcases to pack...swimsuit to buy (is this even possible to get???)...early dinner seating to get (dh has servere reflux so have dr note on file to hopefully help)...dog sitter to set up (sure hope kid across the street is available)...and still need to vote!! DH got his absentee ballot yesterday but I have not received mine...how did that happen??

As far as the fe gifts go, on one part I putting my screen name on the back, as far as the other, not sure what i am doing...

Is it the 1st yet???

I ordered one from Eddie Bauer, i hope it gets here in time and it fits...guess I could go to Beach Baby and spend lots of $$$, sometimes it doesn't pay to loose weight before going cruising...

Started packing suitcases, as we leave on Oct. 25 for Orlando. I finished
one suitcase, all packed, weighed, and ready to go. I bought the small
scale from AAA, it is great when flying as the airlines charge you extra it the
suitcase is over 50 lbs. This one is 41 lbs, so still have 9 more lbs to go, but
the suitcase if filled.
Things that are on the finished list:
on-line check in
Magnets and door decorations
boxes packed to mail to staterooms
fish extenders gifts completed

Things to be done:
Finish packing
pick up clothes from dry cleaners
pick up new sweatshirt (just in case a cold front hits Florida)

Hope everyone else is moving along, as it will be here before we no it...

I'm pretty sure there is no need to sign up for the fitness center, except for certain equipment (I can't remember if it was the treadmills, or Ellipitical)

Is anyone else taking the DCL buses besides us? Based on what we have heard, we probably won't get on the boat much before 3pm, based on previous travellers' reports. It really ticks me off if that is the case, they assured me this time that if we got the transfers we would be on the ship in plenty of time....

Going to print our Tshirt transfers today, and hopefully iron them. DD has been bugging me to get them done! I am running out of weekends!!

We are also taking DCL buses. We are staying at the Dolphin on the 31st, and will be going to MNSSHP. Last time we went on cruise a few years ago we also took DCL buses and I think the pickup time was 11:45 am and we arrived at the port between 1 PM and 1:30 PM.

We recently changed our plans... we'll be arriving 10/30 and staying at the Polynesian for two nights. All the talk on these boards regarding MNSSHP sounded like so much fun, we opted for the same! We'll be going to MNSSHP on 10/30 (10/31 is sold out!). We've been wondering what time the bus leaves from WDW for the ship on Saturday, so thanks for the info above. I was thinking of calling Disney this week to see if I can find out any further information regarding when the bus will be leaving that morning (we have 8:40 breakfast ressies we may need to change). If I learn anything more, I'll post again.

What time does boarding begin? 1:00? This will be our fourth Disney cruise, and I think only once did we arrive early and actually had to wait for boarding. I don't remember now exactly what time that was.

Today flew - started out at the kids soccer game - then came home and sold GS cookies with DD = then took DD and DS to a bday party - while they were there got my magnet paper and tshirt transfer paper from staples - went and got halloween costumes for everyone, went to dinner and now getting ready to collapse

Going to great Adventure tomorrow for fright fest - hopefully will get home early enough to start printing magnets....once my shirts arrive from jiffyshirts on Tuesday, can start those....any advice on doing magnets or shirts...27 days and counting

Do you mind sharing when you booked the cruise. Wondering how far down the waiting list they are. Also a bit curious if there really is one that they work or if you or your travel agent called as follow-up.

We booked ours last September through Costco, they didn't have the main seating available and put us on a list. I never followed up because I assumed that I would never get the main seating and just noticed it was changed when I looked at my reservation. It must've just changed.

We're flying in on 10/31 and staying at the airport Hyatt. We will take Fl Tours over to the Port, not sure on a good time though. We're not making any stops on the way. Any suggestion on a time to head down from the airport?

I did mine on the Magnetic Paper from Avery, had no problems putting
thur the printer. Just do a plain sheet first and then do only one sheet
at a time, they came out great.
Have a good time at Great Adventures, I havne't been their for a while,
but they always have a lot for Halloween.

Started putting things into baskets to pack since suitcases will not come out of attic until the week before we go. this way I can over pack in the baskets. right now trying to get through soccer season, Brownie fall fund raiser(cookies are in January) This year they have an online part that the girls need to enter emails for the magazine orders to get points for a patch and any order the troop get a %of. Any one willing to give up an email address to look at magazine list and renew/ order? I will be glad when the 24th gets here so I can pack and finish up the GirlScouts fall fund raiser since I am co-chairperson(nutmom) Thanks all.

I finished the gift tags for my FE gifts last night. DH agreed to help me put them together on the ship,since they will pack smaller if the parts are done seperatly.

Only 3 weeks (and one day) of work left for me!!!
DH and I looked at the photo album of our first cruise from 2003 today.

I only found label stickers for name tags. IF that is OK with folks, I can bring some of those along with Sharpie's for the meet & greet.
