How many people realized that because daylight savings ends while we are on the cruise that WE GET AN EXTRA HOUR ON THE SHIP?!?!?

Yep!!! It's the best cruise of the year because it is the longest 7-night cruise money can buy.

I had to shoo one of them away yesterday. Neither one have thought to find my screen name & do a search. Good thing for me!

SO, someone has to post those MOST important countdown dates.

This weekend we plan on stocking up on unmentionables and the last of the cruise supplies we need.
Just think... Next week we hit the 1 month to go mark!! we will begin our 30 day countdown!! AAAHHHH!!!! We have been waiting forever!

Not sure what that is referring to...but good luck anyway. It seems that as we get closer everyone in my family has been getting ill. Hopefully we all get it out of our systems now, so we won't have an issue on the ship.

that she would have to have eye surgery ... what things kids say to each other ... found out this kid's parent had lasik surgery & scared the stuff out of my kid

My dd just has to wear glasses.

WuvTigger... Glad to hear things worked out for your daughter! It just amazes me what kids, AND ADULTS tell their friends about medical appointments. I can't imagine what these people tell their enemies!

Best of all now your daughter will be able to see the Magic in all her splendor!

that she made it through the appointment. It's amazing what kids talk about. It's amazing what adults do too.

I'm a little miffed at one of my co workers....she came to me this morning and showed me these bumps she had all over her body...that she said was a virus. She said her kids had it last month and it went away after a few days. I looked at it and told her to go to the corporate health office because I thought she had chicken pox. Corporate health agreed with me....I can't believe some people. Although I've had them before I've heard you can get them again...and my immune system is down since the kids have been sick and I haven't been sleeping all that much. I will kill her if I get them.

SHE WILL NOT RUIN MY CRUISE, WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SINCE MARCH 2007

I would be so MIFFED if she was at work. Then again, I worked at a hospital and folks like that were sent to the Employee Health Nurse.

Hi,
Just checking in with everyone, just got back from Florida, was really hot
during the last trip, should cool down a bit by the time we leave again. We are leaving again on Oct. 25 going down a week early for the cruise and staying with family. The families that are going to the MNSCHP should have
a great time, as my son and family went a couple years ago, and they loved it, done Disney Style, the best.
Our only plans are to go to Chef Mickey's on Thursday night for the buffet and on Friday (Halloween) go over to Downtown Disney in the afternoon, have diner there and let our Granddaughter put on on Halloween Costume and she will be able to TRICK or TRICK at Downtown Disney. Early night for us, and having a car pick us up and take us to the cruise.
We still do not have any Palo Reservations, so going to try when we board the ship.

Just when you think this trip couldn't get any better. Being a HUGE Nascar fan, I just went to Dover over weekend. DH saw how much fun it was and surprised me with tix to go to Homestead/Miami the week after cruise to see the final race of season.... Wow, Disney, Caribbean,Spa treatments and now Nascar all in one trip....hmmmm wonder what he wants out of this .

Finally found 2 more dresses for DD for dinner-she's a jeans & t-shirt kinda gal

Gotta start making lists...pull out the suitcases...decide what to bring...go over TASA regulations for packing procedures...

Need to commence final shopping...some new sunscreen, my travel medical kit...

Get all the memory cards in the camera's ready for LOADS of pictures...

Double check that DH is organized - (Honey, is my favorite suit clean the night / or / Honey, I don't have any dressy socks / before would be fun the night before now wouldn't it?)

Sooooo looking forward to this trip!!!

Glad to hear everyone is well! Though Mindy, I'd be royally ticked if a coworker of mine came to work even THINKING she had checkenpox!! Where are people's brains??

Does anyone else have an Owner's Locker? This is the first time we're actually using it... all of our stuff (toiletries, sunscreen, etc) except for clothes is already in Florida. It will be interesting to see how it goes

We don't have Palo ressies either. I couldn't decide which night! I've really got to get on the ball, lol.

Ok...I give...what is that...I never even heard of an owners locker. Seems to be a good way to avoid airline luggage charges. We booked our airfare last January, so the charges don't apply to us this time.

Rachel (DD) and I had a great time last few days. We stayed at All Star Movies, went to Blizard Beach and Down Town Disney and the Board Walk (not like at home). At her request we even got our Tonga Taost at the Kona Cafe in Poly Sunday morning.

Of course, the main reason was for water ski school! She started to learn to water ski jump! Just over the side about half way up the ramp but she loved it!

Back to reality for a few weeks.
