Thanks everyone! Any suggestions, changes? I want to put a DCL logo on there somewhere. Do you like the white background... I'll make some modifications tonight when I'm home and we can pick which one. If anyone has any logos they want to share, please do as well! We can decide as a group

Our last cruise, I made the logo and personalized it with names for whoever wanted it... and then I never made anything with it! LOL, others had made tshirts, and magnets and such. So this cruise... we're making door decorations! And tshirts, lol!

Me again!!

I wanted to let you all know that I created a private, invite only Yahoo group for us. One of the people on our last cruise did this and it worked WONDERFULLY by storing all our "private" information - things like our names, and email addresses and such. We can post pictures there, and I put in a bunch of links to Disney cruise related sites. We can talk about scheduling a meet at some point on the ship, and list the excursions we're taking.

Send me an email (with your DIS name in it) to jennfortunatoATyahooDOTcom (replacing the AT and DOT of course, lol) and I'll send you an invite. Only people who have participated in this thread and are going on the cruise will be allowed in

Hi Everyone!

This is usually the cruise we go on but we're sailing on the Thanksgiving cruise a few weeks later. My darling friend just booked this cruise (her first one ever) and I'm so excited for her!!!!! She's new to the Disboards and is just getting aquainted with it around here. She's traveling with her hubby and 2 ds who will be 10 and 6 at the time of the cruise. They're a wonderful family and I know they are going to have an incredible time. Until she gets a name here can you give her a quick shout out and a welcome aboard

We have been thinking about Palo. What better thing to do on a cold, windy, winter day? We're trying to decide whether to do dinner, or brunch. We have done the dinner, but never the brunch. Does anyone have any thoughts, or comments on the Palo brunch?

We are definately doing the brunch again. I was a little under the weather (rich food overdose from Palo the night before) our last time and still loved the brunch. We don't drink so the mamosa was not needed but the rest of the fare was wonderful.

Oh... that's a tough decision! We did the dinner on DH's birthday and it was just perfect. So good that we asked to be put on the waiting list for bruch and got a call 2 days later that there was a spot available! Soooo good (is it lunch time yet? My stomach is growling!). If I had to pick one though... I'd pick brunch. I'm a breakfast person. DH is a meat and potatoes dinner person though... he'd pick dinner I'm sure.

So, that didn't help at all, did it? Lol!

Palo Brunch vs Palo Dinner....
THAT is tough!

They are both soo yummy. We are planning on doing both.
We skipped Palo dinner on our 2nd cruise and when we ate there for our anniversary on our last cruise we were just blown away.

But if we were only going to do one I THINK it would be Brunch.

The hard part about dinner is missing your rotation, and since we don't know where we are on any given night, its sort of hard to plan. For me the Animators rotation menu is the most skip-able, but we are traveling with first time cruisers, so we probably should plan a different night anyway.

DW is wondering if the Palo Brunch has "specialty pancakes", or anything with a bananas foster sauce. Has anyone seen any of these?
