I also bought the kids new sand buckets & sand toys hich will become play toys when we get home.

My 2 love to dig & play especially IF has rained.

We have made the decision to do laundry 1 day on the cruise. That will sure save luggage space. I gotta check w/ dh as to how many pieces of luggage we can check before we get dinged = $$$ .

We are flying down on Air-tran and coming home on SW. SW allows two
pieces of checked luggage, and Air-tran only 1 piece of checked luggage,
but if you booked before April 20, the first and second piece of luggage is
free. We booked our tickets on April 18, so we just made the cut off.

Well, that must have been an interesting childhood- growing up with lions!!!! Glad your son is able to deal with the allergies and the pets- I know getting rid of our dog would KILL my kids, that's for sure. I would bet at some point you & my friend have met- her name is Jane, her DH is Frank, they have two daughters, Chrissy and Mary Kate (who they call Mary Monster ) or at least they did when she was a toddler!! Their dog was Irish, she was a border collie mix- great dog. Any of this ringin' a bell? As for recognizing me, we'll have to figure out exactly why that is when we're sailing around the caribbean!!! Ever been to the Hud? Maybe it's from there! Or the Colony 4? I was the cashier for a couple of summers in the mid '80's. Natalie's Place in Surf City? I was a cook. MMSC was around '91-'93, with Bob & Sheila, right? Such a small world, I love it!

They have already made contact.... DS14 is like..." hey mom, some chick emailed me for the cruise, sweet"....so I guess in teenage lingo, he's happy.

The main item for my FE gift arrived today!! Very excited I have another box in transit and two things on back order. if my backorder does not come through i will have to subsitute or go without those items. Very excited about my theme/present. My plan is to do one for each kid on the list but no parents in those rooms and then one for rooms with no kids. This works best with what i have but prevents the need for kids to share. I am working on the asumption that adults have learned to share .

DD11 will be at the DISMeet at 3:00! She's looking forward to meeting other "tweens". Bfosbenner's DD and my DD have been emailing already. I think those girls need a little extra water training... i.e. Bfosbenner's DD waterskiing behind the Magic, and my DD swimming after her! It would build character.

I'm sure all of the DIS Kids will have a great time.

Wow, this has been a busy thread today! This afternoon I took a break and brought up a picture of "Gorda Cay" on my work computer. Coworkers asked me where it was. I told them, "That's where I'll be in about 3 weeks". I took pleasure in their jealousy!

You're a WIDA???!!! Oh boy- your family goes wayyyyyyy back on that island, huh? I know Ross- well, enough to say hi too- he recognizes me and my DH, but I doubt if he would know our names- he DOES however, know Frank and Jane by name....and Tom that I told you about a long time ago worked the door there for a long time. Back in the day, I used to love those harbor lights! Where did you live? In the apt in the Colony 4?

How about Tom Santosalvo? I was just telling my friend about this and she said her husband used to know some Widas- his house is on the Blvd in N. Beach- it was his Aunt Dot's. I have a funny Widas story to tell you when we meet, too...
