Trying to get some things moved from the to do list down to the finished list.
Started to do some serious packing, started with my husbands things first, had to take some things to the cleaners (suit and shirts).
I am going to send some boxes down ahead of time too, not really sure when
to mail them off. I made large sand buckets and added some toys, cards,
color books,snacks,pool toys, etc. and shrink wrap them for the kids. Going to mail them down. If I remember correctly, the last time that I mailed boxes
to Florida going thur UPS it took 4 days for them to be delivered. So my
guess is a week to 10 days should be plenty of time. I would not send
Chocolate to Florida, as it has still been pretty hot during the day, as fear
it is going to melt in one large ball. For the snacks it picked up little bags
of Pop-corn, cheese-its, and skittles for the kids.
Upgrade, not sure it we will get one or not, as we booked a Cat. 11 inside room.
Finished my on-line check in and our room number is still the same.

Nothing in mail or via the pony express today. Absentee ballots are done...now thinking made a huge mistake in original ballot...too late now.
I have some last minute dry cleaning etc to do. Hoping all goes smooth.

Does anyone have any idea what the rules are on cases of water etc.?? I do not want to drink foreign stuff on these excursions.

I know that you can buy your own bottled water and bring it on board. I believe it has to go through the scanner, but don't quote me on that. Last time, my DH and I bought a case of water in Key West and just walked it on board with no problems.

Just got this information from Dreams Unlimited. I wasn't sure about shipping a package or water, thought I'd share their answer:

Per Dreams Unlimited:

You can ship a ‘package’ prior to your sailing but it can not contain Food, Beverage, Chemicals or any kind or Luggage items.

Disney Cruise Line will open the package upon receipt.

Please include the following information:

Lead Name on Reservation

Sail Date

Ship Name

Reservation Number

Stateroom Number

And the Packing Slip must have detailed list of the contents of the package.

We did have a wrinkle in our plans. The dkiddos want to know what they will be wearing for Halloween. Anyone got any ideas of what I can tell them

How about... Jet setting tourists, complete with suitcases! Travel clothing with sunglasses, and suitcases will make the perfect costume!

YOU have given me great ideas!

I can see it now! These are going to make really special pix. I will make sure dh gets that NEW video camera which is NO bigger than our camera to capture their reactions to the surprise!

I will tell them that Halloween is a special surprise and I can't spill the beans.

Have them dress like surfers....complete with Hawaiian shirts, shorts, sandals...some funky sunglasses......you can even give them a towel, which will double as pillow on plane. They'll be already for the heat by that point.

Would you have a few morsels that you could put in the FE for my kiddos?

We will be in flight during the time for trick or treating at our house on the 31st.

And I think it might help to know that they got some "Mickey" candy.

They have asked if they can "borrow" some of my extra Mickey maps that haven't made it into a scrapbook yet.

They plan on wearing their lanyards, hawaiian shirts, pants, hats, fanny packs for putting the candy in. And they will be able to use their camera as one of their props!

Oh, I got them good!

We are too, and we're stopping on the way to purchase a case of water and a bottle or 2 of wine for the room- then we're going to check the case of water in like a piece of luggage. The wine will go in a small wheel on cooler- no ice- and small enough to fit through the xray to get on ship.
