I booked my Southwest airplane tickets!
All that waiting was frustrating, then they suddenly opened up the dates, but I got what I wanted.

They cost me more than I expected, but at least now that is out of the way!

Now is the time to shop for vacation clothing!

Who is getting all pirated out for Pirate night? I can't decide whether to pack costumes for that night or just hats. Looking at pictures I see really no one wearing anything other than bandanas or hats....anyone have suggestions?

I took a quick glance at the package. I didn't want to be caught looking at them by the kiddos. It's been over 10 months that I have kept this secret & I KNOW I can keep it until 11/1/08.

How dressed up are y'all going to be for the semi formal nights?

I got 2 dresses for the girls for formal night & some sun dresses for the other nights.

Me thinks the kiddos might want to spend more time in the kids club rather than sitting down for 1 1/2 hours for dinner.

How dressed up are y'all going to be for the semi formal nights?

Me thinks the kiddos might want to spend more time in the kids club rather than sitting down for 1 1/2 hours for dinner.

I think I am renting the tux's onboard for all 3 guys. By the time I spend $$ on new suits for them all, I can rent tux's for cheaper price and get 2 nights out of them. There is really no use for suits in the constuction biz, so last time DH wore a suit was YEARS ago. After losing 80lbs , don't think it still fits him. I personally haven't decided what to wear, I am usually not a "dress" person and prefer fancy pant suits. Anyone ever see sequined pant outfits on women on formal night? I have some gorgeous ones I have worn to weddings etc, but need any excuse to go buy new. Worst case I use one for semi-formal night.

Pluto, you scare me sometimes !!! Southwest hasn't changed their luggage rules as of yet, which tells me that we have 8 suitcases and 4 carryons total...OMG, what I could pack in that !!! I figure we pack 4 and squish the empties into one to make it 5, I need souveneir room.
I need an excuse to shop, I may be the only woman on earth who really, TRULY HATES TO SHOP !! I am on first name basis with the UPS guy due to I shop solely via the web. I haven't even been in a mall in over 3yrs....yes so true!!! Don't get me wrong, I have the AMEX card memorized !

My smil (step MIL) wears black pants & fancy sequined tops for all the formal nights on the last 4 cruises. Except for her wedding to my fil, I have NEVER seen her in a dress.

I am thinking that will be the way I go too! One less pair of shoes to pack & I detest wearing panty hose~

Thanks for the reminder. DH keeps saying we need to get the info. (I keep telling him that I don't care...I am a bad voter )

I got my pirate outfit in on Saturday!! DH goes ALL out, so I felt dumb the first year in my tropical dress (the had changed the deck party from the tropical theme that it had been shortly before our cruise)
I have a friend who can sew and has too much time on her hands so she made him a costume.

We have taken our two godsons to WDW as suprises, and now we are planning their sisters trip. We got her parents to say yes to a land/sea vacation!! So she KNOWS that she will be going to WDW one day when she is old enough, so I can talk to her about the "land stuff" but I have to bite my tounge about the cruise. (and its in 11/09, so I have a way's to go)
