I'm so excited even though I have 35 days (5 weeks from today I'll be checking into CSR!!!) DH thinks I'm nuts!! He laughs at me every time I get giddy thinking about getting to WDW! I'm so glad there are others here to share in my excitement! Thanks!

Sure will. And I actually went to UNA for a year right out of high school also (1990-1991). I just live 30 minutes from UNA! UNA is having their homecoming this Saturday.

We think he broke his ankle running this morning. It is humongously swollen.
I am so upset I don't know what to do.

One of those long outlet things (why can I not remember what its called) so we have plenty of outlets to plug in phone chargers, and battery chargers for the camera and video camera.

This is a great idea! Thanks. there are never enough free outlets in hotel rooms.

More prayers for a sprain, JoBird! This is why we refuse to let our kids do anything that might result in injuries right before we go! Four years ago youger DD fell during field day the day before we left for our spring break Disney trip. DH is an ER doc and was working that day. I didn't think it was that bad till the teachers started talking about how swollen it was so I took her in. He Xrayed it an it had a hairline fracture, I bought a splint and she went back to school. DH kept ranting about how we were skipping field day from now on because of this!

Well, I'm back for two seconds and wanted to update everyone.

Mighty Good Man is now a Mighty Limpy Man. Good news- not broken. Thank God. However, the ER doc said that he ripped a muscle or ligament and so he will have to wear a splint/bootie thingy for at least 4 weeks to let it heal. She said she was impressed with his high pain tolerence. He IS a mighty Good man! She gave him pain meds which he promptly refused.

He told me that when he did it, he fell, said a cuss word and then said, "Jodi is going to be furious."

And I was so mad that after I checked on him and made sure he was fine, I went and spent an obscene amount on clothes, makeup, shoes AND THEN...
I went to the spa.

His unfortune turned into a pampering day for me ---- I had to do something- he had my pressure all up!

Thanks guys for all the prayers and PD sent our way... it really stinks that he's going to be hobbling around, but i am thankful it wasn't much worse.

Oh my goodness Jo, you must be thanking your lucky starts this time. Keep that man on house arrest until you leave. That's my biggest fear that someone might get too sick or injured to go. Glad to hear it's not broken but listen to the doctor and hopefully he'll be well enough to limp to the Magic Kingdom!

Quick update.....

So DBF got me all upset thinking that renting our DVC points was a scam when i brought up that we still haven't gotten our ME docs yet. So i sent the DVC landlord (if you will) an e-mail and waited... well all day at work i kept checking my email with no response. So I made the call to reservations. I gave them our "confermation" number and thankfully they had us in the computer for our trip.... phew!

When i spoke to the CM i also asked her about my ME docs and she gave me the number to call ME directly. I gave them a call and they had the wrong address!!! I emailed her our new address but it must not have gotten to the ME express people or something. So the CM at ME (which was the sweetest lady ever!!!) changed my address and she is going to have them send me another one. Seh said it can take 7-10 days not counting sundays.... we leave in 12 days counting sunday!!! She told me not to worry... she thinks it will get to me on time but if it doesn't not to worry that it is in their system and just to check in at the ME counter at MCO even if we don't have them. She told me to have a magical day and i must say i'm feeling like i'm on

Glad you know now it was all legit. I would have been worried too probably. But now that all is good you can concentrate on being excited!

I've never used them. I am packing each of my children's daily outfits in 2 gallon ziploc bags and just gonna squeeze as much air out as possible.

Oh Jo...prayers and pixie dust being sent your way! I'm so glad his ankle isn't broken, but I tell ya...a torn ligament or muscle is just as sore if not worse than a break. Hopefully the splint and booty will help, but if he needs an ECV make him use it!! The least he could do is help you get on a few rides before others. LOL I really love how you think...husband hurts himself so you get to spend money and go to the spa for getting your blood pressure up! hehe I'll have to try that one with my hubby!
