Wanted to send you some prayers and good thoughts for your MIL. It sounds like she had quite the surgery!! What have they said about recovery time? Wow...I can't imagine...10 screws and a new ball. I'll continue to keep you all in my prayers.

they are being honest and saying they don't know. It therapy will be tough on her because of the things they had to do in surgery. She will just learn to let others take care of her and she is used to being the caretaker. She looked really good when we went to see her today.

We're hitting the road on the November 14th. True, we don't check in till the 16th but we officially begin our vacation when we get in the van. Looking at all the drama in everyone else's lives, I am reminded of how lucky I really am and what I have to be thankful for on this Canadian Thanksgiving!

I have purchased everything we will need for the trip. All the packing should be done except for those last minute things like cell phone chargers. No worries about buying anything else.

Ohhhhh, what a great resort for your first on site stay!!! Be sure to go to the Resorts board to look at the CBR FAQ thread and the pics under Resort Photo's!

Martinique 24, 25 and 26 and all of Trinidad North buildings are considered Preferred Rooms because they're right beside Old Port Royale where the food court, sit down restaurant, arcade, gift shops, main pool and marina are located.

If you don't want to pay for Preferred then I would suggest calling and requesting Martinique 22, Aruba 51 or 52 or Jamaica 45, 44 or 46. These are all a 5 minute walk at the most to Old Port Royale. Safetymom has a great thread with information about CBR as well as photo's. Definitely pull up the Resort Map at www.allears.net to see the best islands to stay. We normally request Aruba 51 or 52 or Jamaica 45...just a 5 minute walk or dance like we do over the bridge and island (caribbean music is piped through the island) to OPR. You're gonna just love the main pool!!!

I would go ahead and call CRO now to have them add your requests onto your reservations. Or you could wait until 48 hours prior to your arrival and call CBR directly: 407-934-3400. Every time we go to try a different resort we end up switching back to CBR...it's truly our favorite!

Are you using ME? If not then you should be fine if you don't receive documents. Just make sure yo have your confirmation number, ID, etc.

We aren't using ME because we are actually arriving a couple days before we get to Disney.... thanks for the info. and for making me calm down a bit. I'm sure I'm just being a kid who wants her present from santa. Too bad the USPS doesn't have a magical sleigh!
