November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

When we were there a few weeks ago, the kids and I peeked through the big wood panels they have up around the construction. It does look like it will be a really fun restaurant. It looked like they still had tons and tons of work to do on it.

I have looked at the TRex web site. It does look neat. Was kind of hoping to eat there, but not willing for a long wait. We already have a ton of ADRs. Anyone know exactly where it is located. Would it be possible to browse shops while waiting.

Not sure of the answers for your questions, so I'm no help. But we will hopefully be at DTD the day we arrive and we are probably gonna eat supper while at DTD, so if we are there early enough, maybe we can get in in time for a decent suppertime.

49 days and counting! I did get my countdown chart done, but still need to cut X's using my cricut to "X" out the days. And because of the way I wanted to do it, I only put from day 25 down to 1. So we won't start counting down officaially till then. I will take a picture of it when I hang it up. So in 24 days...LOL The kids haven't seen it it nor do they know about it. I did show DH last night and he finally got why I wanted the mickey heads from Home Depot...LOL

It's over on the West Side, around Raglan Road in that area. Some shops there, but not like in the MArketplace area.

Hey all! We will be at OKW from 11/1-11/10!!

I am SO excited, we all are! The kids have their countdown chain hanging in the kitchen and take a loop off everyday!

We LOVE going in November. This year we are trying Jersey Week. I'm a little nervous about the crowd size, but the kids have 6 days off so for a 9 day vacation they will only miss 3 days of school! I couldn't pass that up!!!

When we were there a couple weeks ago, we looked at the T-Rex construction. It is past the Lego store and past the McDonalds. Then we went over a sidewalk bridge and by Fulton's. It is around there. Kind of like way across from Fulton's and in front of Raglan Road. I don't think you could browse any shops.

A CM that was peeking in when we were told me that there will be a lot of stuff to do in the restaurant. She said of course there will be a big shop to buy merchandise. She said there will be a big sand pit where kids can dig for dinasaur bones and fossils (for a cost though). She said something about a Build-a-Dino, just like the Build-a-Bear. She also said something about touch screens to read info on dinosaurs.

ARGGG!!!! just need to vent alittle... our closing day was moved AGAIN! We are back to sept. 19th. But according to my realtor this is a definate so here's hoping

We are planning to go Thanksgiving week, doing most of the parks before Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is my daughter's fifth b'day! I

f it works out we will arrive Saturday have dinner at Boma's and see the AK Lodge. Sunday we are going to Epcot with highlights Soarin and the princess dinner at Akershus for DD's bday dinner. Monday is SeaWorld and maybe Downtown Disney for dinner. Tuesday is Magic Kingdom with lunch at Kona cafe. Wednesday is Discovery Cove--they limit admission so it shouldn't be crowded. Thursday is Animal Kingdom and we will have a take out Thanksgiving/Birthday dinner in the room. We are staying off site at Residence Inn Lake BV which has good reviews. I'm hoping I can get them to decorate the room while we're gone. Friday we plan to pick oranges on the way to Tampa to see my brother then head out.

Questions I have are strategies to get out of MK quickly after the fireworks, also what will they do for a bday dinner at Akershus. Where would you get a take out Tgiving dinner in LBV? And how would you head toward the Carolina's (95) from Tampa without backtracking thru Orlando--don't think I can handle that.

We still have to clear all this with my son's middle school teachers. I'm hoping they won't schedule any major projects on that Mon or Tuesday.

No suggestions on answers to your questions, just wanted to say welcome. Also to say I wish we could have done Sea World this trip. But we decided against it since we were already shelling out so much we couldn't justify the extra cost. But youngest DS wants to go so badly, so hopefully we will get back down to Orlando area in the next few years.

MY KIDS know we are going..they just dont know we are are staying the first weekend at Nick hotel...then 13 days at WDW...i usually try and surprize them with something....beach,seaworld,universal(which i was not too fond of....)my son loves "rasslin"...so im trying to get in on a taping of TNA Wrestling at Universal for him....

My friend who dont "disney"..all say 16 days what in the world are you gonna do that whole time...they dont grasp the concept of ORLANDO having more than wdw...heck i still want to see THE HOLY LAND....

Yes... it is still this week thankfully! i read your other post about Blake asking when halloween is and i chuckled alittle because i keep thinking the SAME thing!!! I'm sucha big kid!! Also Happy early Birthday!!
