Just thought I'd share this scrapbook page I did a couple months ago. Its a picture from our last trip to DW in 2000. This is my DH and my now almsot 13 year old DS on Dumbo:

I hope to get DS's picture in the "same" elephant this year.

I am just super worried about the weather. Terrified it will be cold!!! Will the Christmas Decorations be up by November?? That might make hives bearable!!

I'm kind of nervouse about this too! There is nothing i like more than coming out of MCO and getting onto the ME and feeling that blast of heat and humidity!!! Feels so good after coming from not so hot Mass. And I love to swim and after seeing the pictures of the AKV pool I've been having dreams about it!
Then again at least i'll be able to wear my hair down and it not be out of control frizz mainia! (for those of you who saw the pictures i've posted)
I've heard the weather is a hit or miss that time of year so we'll see i guess!

We started out with sweatshirts in the morning, by noon we were warm and took them off. Some evenings we had to put them on. Our first night there we had to wear long pants and sweatshirts, but after that it warmed up.

It was warm enough for the kids to swim and we came back with slight tans.

That was in 2006 Nov 26-Dec 2. I think the christmas stuff goes up mid Nov.

Thanks Kristie. I have been scrapping for almost 13 years. But then took a break and then started scrapping faithfully for about 7 years now.

Sandy... I love your scrapbook page. I started to scrapbook when my first son was 1. I have all his pictures done for that first year. Then I had my second son and was too busy to start his. Then I had twins. I have so much scrapbooking stuff and 1,000s and 1,000's of pictures. I always feel bad that I don't have time to do it. I need to try to do at least something every day.

I am hoping it is warm a lot of days so we can swim and go to a waterpark. We usually go in June, and I won't miss how hot it is and all the rain. It sounds like November is perfect weather.

Off of a wonderful weekend in New York when I went to see La Boheme at the Metropolitan Opera House (my first time ever!), I got to thinking about what everyone waiting for their November trip to Disney has planned for the interim.
If you're like me and live in a region of the country where the winters linger through March, the last couple months have been really tough, and you've found yourself thinking about Disney A LOT!!!!! But now that spring seems to finally have arrived in force here and summer is on the horizon, I'm looking forward to an amazing upstate New York summer full of golf, hiking, barbecues, day trips and the like.
My girlfriend and I also have some fun things planned. We're headed to Cape Cod for 5 days the second week of May, for example. We're going back to the East End (Long Island) vineyards at some point, and hoping to go to Splish Splash during that trip (a top-ten waterpark on the island). We're going to Buffalo for a weekend (I did my doctoral work there) and spending a day in Toronto. We're looking at brewery visits in Cooperstown, Burlington, Middlebury and wherever else the mood strikes us. And of course, we're seeing off Yankee Stadium.
And that's all before race season in Saratoga!
I'm so glad summer is coming. I figure that once it has passed, we'll be under 100 days for Disney, and then the real countdown will begin!
So what does everyone here have planned? I think it'd be fun to know what you are up to in the [for us] 230 or so days before we congregate in central Florida, so please let us all know what you have planned and post about it after you're done with whatever that is!

Well I normally would be spending my time at the baseball and softball field with the kiddos. But none of mine are playing this year So I have a season off of sports. So I plan to just hang out at home maybe do a little weekend camping here and there.

Wow, that list is awesome!! Thanks so much for taking the time to do all the work.

As for what I'm planning on doing in the interim, besides planning for the trip of a lifetime, not much. I'm saving all our pennies for this trip so I guess we'll just spend weekends at the beach. Lucky we live in Hawaii, huh?

I hope we can all help each other get through the next 200 or so days until out vacation begins!!!

We have lots of school work keeping us busy. Also, my older boys are playing baseball, so we have that through the end of May.

I moved last year the week after we came back from Disney, and I still have a lot of boxes in the garage to go through. I want to get that done.

Then the kids and I are going to Florida in August. We will be there 2 weeks. We are not going to Disney, but we are going to Disney's Vero Beach for a couple days. We probably will go to DTD one day too.

So we are counting down the days until we get to go to FL. I actually need to count them, we have been so busy that I lost track.

whilst waiting for our holiday to come around, we are looking to move house, wanting to get out into the countryside, also got a week away to my parents later this months, and may be heading to bemuda in sept with dh on a freebie from work (find out in the next few weeks about that one)!!

Wow, there are a lot of us going to be there the first week! Here I thought I was going to have the parks all to myself.

I guess its fine as long as you are the only ones going.

ILMICKEY: We are from Michigan too, Chesterfield (45 minutes S of Port Huron)

Our plans: I go to school at night, that keeps me pretty busy. My kids chose to NOT play basball this year but are looking into other things.

My garage is a complete mess since we remodeled our kitchen, that will be a huge undertaking once we dive into it.

I need it done by June though, there's always a huge Subdivision Sale the first weekend in June I like to participate in.

We are thinking of taking a week off in July to do something. America's Adventures in Muskegon or even just going North to use the cottage.

There's talk with some of my other threads for a mini meet in August at Cedar Point.

My BFF and I talked about just going to local campsites this year on weekends with the kids.
