November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

We've just blown out the pumpkin lights and closed the door. I'm shocked that we only had about 30 Trick or Treaters tonight. Ten years ago I ran out of goodies at 200. It was a long slow night. DS19 was at a party, DS 16 was at work and DD14 went to a few houses and then stopped at a friends to hand out candy. Kinda sad the days of little princesses and lions are over.

Oh well, I'll get over it - WE LEAVE IN 14 DAYS!!

Someone else said they were going to start putting up Christmas decorations now that Halloween was over but I'm not even thinking about the holidays yet. Although I do have a list of ideas for pressies that I will look for when we're on vacation.

It's even more exciting to see everyone here start to leave. Woohoo!

We had a great time trick or treating last night. The twins were really into it since they are older this year, so it was really fun. I think we were out for about 2 1/2 hours. There was one house that had a bunch of Mickey halloween decorations, and they let me take pictures of the twins with all their blow up Mickey decorations and pumpkins.

We are going to the Fall Festival at our church today, and then tomorrow after church I am going to get some packing done. I feel like I have so much to do now.

well i've had a rough day.... when i went to get my hair done the dye had dripped on my forehead... no big deal right? WRONG! the hairdresser used some type of dye remover and it burned my skin... i have a one inch burn down the side of my forehead!!! But i didn't let it get to me. So we got home and i started getting things together and i packed the digital camera and couldnt find the charger, I know i packed it, i ripped through everything and can't find it... went to 5 stores and NOONE had a charger... apparently its a special order. So we bought a new battery for DBF's digital camera which is like 100 yrs old. But i'm not letting that get to me either. I maybe burned and cameraless but i'm leaving for disney in 8 hours!!!!

To all those leaving while i'm away have a great trip and maybe i'll see you there! Lets all hope for great weather and low crowds! I'm going to miss checking this thread everymorning. i'll report when i get back.
