We are debating wether to go around Thanksgiving or around the middle of Dec. Any advice would be appreciated. How crowded is Thanksgiving and is before or after better.? When do the crowds start for Christmas? Thanks.

I would like to know the answer to this too!

We are wanting to see the Christmas Decorations but don't know when we should go for sure.

I have gone down the last two years the first week of December and it was awesome. No more than 10 minute wait on rides, except for MK on Saturday. It was really busy, like 70 minute wait on some rides. Besides that I feel this is the best time to go. Everyone is gone from the Thanksgiving holiday and no one is there yet for Xmas and the Xmas decorations are up. Not busy with Xmas decorations, the best of both worlds to me! :D

We have been 3 times the first weeks of December and this year will be our 4th and to me there is no other time to go!!!!! Crowds are minimal, decorations are awesome and what a great way to get you in the holiday spirit!

I would suggest the middle of December time period. The crowds will not be as bad as they are the weekend of Thanksgiving. Plus you get to enjoy all the holiday festivities without the long lines.

I still advise reserving the CP Dinner Pkg before you go though. Many of the locals enjoy this show and the Osbourne lights.

They also offer a wonderful Yultide Tour which gives you a behind the scenes look at how they decorate and the xmas warehouse.

We went the first time in December last year and absolutely LOVED it. When my "baby" went off to college I promised myself an "off season" Christmas at Disney. After having gone all the time in August it was up there with one of our very best trips at Disney. DH and I have decided Disney World without kids is awesome!!! No pressure to see or do anything. We're going back this December again. We went the first week last year and are doing the same this year. All the Christmas stuff just adds more magic to the already magical!!! I'll probably NEED that quiet Disney vacation after "July" with brother and family!!! YIKES:hyper:
