GREAT .... Thanks

Oh my goodness guys- did you notice we are just two weeks out now! Wahoooo! Can't wait for my Bahama Mama....here I come Mickey!!!!

Yeah... The final countdown begins... We are very excited too.

Maybe it would be fun if post some of our favorite tips for packing and so on.

A couple of mine are. Over the door shoe holder, with clear pockets. It is really great to hold all those little items that clutter up the room.

Also I like to bring Downey wrinkle release to freshen up my clothes..

Wendy

Another favorite... Decorating your door... My DD loves to decorate our door and friends doors.... It makes me smile everytime I walk into our cabin. It also makes it easier for DD to find our room.

I totally forgot about the shoe holder!! I have been a lot more prepared for previous trips. It feels like we're winging it on this one. 2 weeks!!! :laundy:

OH - and thank you so much Buckeye Jennifer for getting the FE list together. You rock!!

our DS (13) is worried that there wouldn't be anything for him to do with other kids on board..
As of now I think we might stay on the ship in Nassau this trip.
Since we have Atlantis booked for our Dec. cruise, I am not booking a room for this cruise.
DD and I *might get off and walk around a little but thats about it.
Anyway, my 13 yr old DS will be on the ship for Nassau day too.

Thanks so much for the FE list! Yeah!

Jennifer,

Can't thank you enough for putting this together for all us. What a great way to spread some Disney magic!

Another one is the collapsible laundry hamper...but we also use the shoe holder for all sorts of things...but not shoes...

For those participating in FE, I also suggest a zip-tie to firmly attach your FE, especially if your cabin is near an elevator (ie where there is heavy traffic)...there has been instances of disappearing FE's...

While in Nassau, there will be kid's activities...one of Disney's perks is that parents can leave the ship for any excursion in any port and leave the kid(s) behind...in fact, the kids (like ours) often greatly prefer it that way...

Mine will be decorated though being at the back of the ship on a dead end path I doubt anyone but me and my two neighbors will see it. Oh well, I don't care I am doing it anyway- for me! LOL! I still have to see if it will all fit in a plastic ziplock bag. Currently they are decorating my fridge. :)

So stressed out! :scared:

1. Kids have been trying to "slouch" on schoolwork because I have been sick this week with a crappy cold.

2. Have to go back to SAV Sunday and paint our house so we can rent it.

3. DS birthday is Sunday

4. (new cruisers) are all stressed because all they hear about is pep eating Spam on the Splendor.

Can we just skip forward like ..ummm... 2 weeks?

Hi, buckeyejennifer

I see we are on the FE list. :)

Right now we are in 5500, but it could change I guess.

Also if you have everyone's last name we could customize each of our gifts.

Thanks,
Steven

Hi Everyone -

We (DH, DW, DS, age 8) did this cruise last year and are booked again for this year since it was such a great trip!

We will be participating in the FE's, so add us to the list!

If there are any other boys in the 8 y.o. range, I'd love to arrange for a meet ASAP when we get on the ship. Our little man did fine last year but would have loved to hook up with a friend. :cool1:

Hi Everyone - I have been locked out of DISboards  and had to finally start a new account (note similar names!) as we are only 2 weeks away!!!!

Anyhow, please add us to the FE's...our cabin is 6578

Allen DH
Rhonda DW
Collin DS 8 y.o.

Got our documents Tuesday....seems real now! Can't believe we leave in 12 days..OMG! I wish we knew the weather already, so I could pack if we need all summer stuff. Worried we will need some winter stuff too though.

It is always a good idea to take a light jacket or a hoodie sweatshirt. The movie theater gets a little chilly and sometimes in the evening it is great to walk the upper decks and you need a sweatshirt.

Well we are in WDW and I will soon leave this portable office to go join Lisa/Mason in the parks and do FE shopping...w/the late addition, I count 11 FE families total....just cannot completely escape work this week, sigh.

Disneyworld30th - 2 adults
RLMlovesAJM - 2 adults, boy 8

So is this everyone?
Later, I am off to hide behind a locked door and go through some goodies.
Just wanted to make sure I have the correct list.

i will update the stateroom later...i'll see if Lisa recalls it...I know it is one of the 2 category 5 cabins that is considered a 7 due to the ship's curvature causing a slight blockage of the upper corner of the balcony, but do not recall if we are port or starboard this time.

So for FE it looks like 12 total cabins and 16 total kids, plus adults of course..
