Nov,20th, 2011 Mexico

we are late additions to the Nov. 20 Mex. Riviera Disney Wonder cruise!
I am a single mom with 2 boys (ages 10 and 12) and it's out first cruise ever! Looking forward to a great time and meeting new people!

Welcome aboard! You are going to have a blast! Enjoy your first time; there’s nothing like the first time and being totally amazed by the Wonder of Disney. Well, maybe there is nothing like your second, fourth, or sixth time...It is just the BEST cruise liner on the sea!

Homecoming is done! It was fun! I hope everybody is enjoying the last minute packing and planning as we go into the last month. I am trying to finalize the packing list. :goodvibes

I am wondering.... Besides clothes, WHAT IS ONE ITEM THAT IS A MUST FOR YOU TO PACK? :rolleyes1

It is a tie for me: POWERSTRIP AND SHOE RACK! :thumbsup2

My American Express Card. One time I forgot to pack some toothpaste. I usually keep my toilet kit supplied with a travel size, but I had run out on a previous trip and forgot to replenish it. So when I got to my destination, I had none. I used my AMEX card to buy some for $4 for what I usually pay $0.99 at Target. Fortunately, I was on company travel so the company paid for it.

4. PeptoBismal... Just in case....

We always bring our Airborne! We up the amount we take about two weeks prior to the cruise and take it everyday throughtout the cruise. I am a germ freak so I too like to travel healthy:goodvibes

So I also cannot travel without my germ wipes and hand sanitizer.

Ok, for anyone who has sailed the Wonder before, I have a question. I know there is coke and diet coke on board, but is there cafine free coke? I did not think there was, but my inlaws TA said there was. If not I need to tell them to bring there own.

It's the same set-up that Costco has. No root beer or Dr.Pepper, I believe. Coke, Sprite, tea and lemonade. :drinking1

Our documents arrived today! WOOT!

Ours Too:dance3: Can't wait, trying to stay busy on the DIS as I am building with anticipation.
FE gifts done, embarkation day shirts done, frame mats and vinylmation ready for signatures, goodies for the CM done, need to come up with more I can get done to fill up the month.

This will be our first trip with a little one (1 years old), I have gathered a lot of tips from other threads, but if anyone on our trip has traveled with a little one and has any extra hints that went well, or even tips of something they would NEVER do again, I am open to any and all of it.

Definitely right about the Dr. Pepper, my husband who is an addict has to bring his own. He was fussing about how many items we were going to carry on, but when I mentioned that he needed to carry on Dr. Pepper if he wanted it...he was quick to figure out a different suitcase for the carry on luggage.

Ok, question...I'm worried about our meet time. We get on the ship, eat lunch, ship tour, kids club meet and tour, what time Is the muster drill, and sail away party...will we have time at 3:30?

The sail away party is slotted for 4:15. This question got kinda buried and I was wondering if anyone else has an idea to the answer. Will we have time to meet at 3:30?

Ours Too:dance3:

Well what ever you do bring enough diapers and wipes. Favorite toy, or snuggly.

I am a Diet Pepsi gal! I may have to stuff a few cans in my carry-on.

When we make our first stop, in Puerto Vallarta, there is a Sams Club and Walmart directly across the street. You can buy soda, diapers and wipes there. One friend bought orange soda to mix with the round-the-clock soft serve machine for 50/50 floats. Or pick up some root bear for root bear floats. :stir: :drinking1
