No DWTS for me, I was in a nyquil stupor. And as soon as my hubby comes home, I'll probably do the same tonight. I've had the same cold for a month.

Sounds like you need a cruise to the Mexican Riviera.

Not thrilled with DWTS, but I usually watch it more once there are less contestants. I think Chynna will go a long way. 2 hours is too long for me! I've been to the taping of the show 3x in the past 2 years. Lot's of fun.

I check the DCL website multiple times a day to see if they've assigned our GTY yet. Still nothing. I'm getting impatient too! LMAO! I'll let y'all know as soon as I know.

It is not the best cast, but I am hoping that it gets better later in the competition. I like Chyna too. I DVR it so I can fast forward all the commiercals and boring dances. I think the final might be the week of our cruise. Thank goodness for DVR.

FE gifts all ordered, and they should be here soon I decided on a Thanksgiving theme instead of a Disney theme. I cannot wait to see how the gifts turn out.

I know earlier we were talking about a precruise meet at DL on October 14th. Unfortunately, that is DD's homecoming game so we will not be able to swing it. Is anybody attending Mickey's Halloween Party? DD and her friends are going on the 28th of October. I like DL this time of year when it is all decorated for Halloween. We were there last weekend, and it was great to see the giant Mickey Jack-O-Lantern on Main Street.

We have a busy few weeks ahead: DH's bday is next weekend; our anniversary and my DD's BFF's birthday party at DL are next Saturday, and homecoming game and dance are the following weekend. And I still have things to do for our upcoming cruise: purchase semi-formal dresses; finish magnets; arrange transportation to and from the port; finalize pet sitting; assemble FE gifts; write packing lists, and continue to work, play, and plan my day-to-day life!

Is anybody planning to wear group embarkation shirts? Well, we usually do, but this time my family vetoed me. They wanted to wear whatever they want. What a brunch of Grumpies!

Happy Fall to everyone. We are going to Mickey's Trick or Treat Party this Friday night. Putting finishing touches on our costumes now. DH leaves for Afghanistan next weekend, so it is busy, and sad, days ahead. Finished FEs, waiting for a final count. Less than 2 months away now-time will fly by. I hope to have a complete list out soon. I know that some GTY have not received there room number yet.

So, I decided that I didn't like the way my FE's were packed, plus I decided to add something, so here I am on a Sunday taking everything out and trying to fix it. My husband just shook his head at me and walked away. So I asked him, (honey, don't you want to help) I swear, he just took off down the hall, running away from me. Now I know what to ask him if I want alone time. Haha

We are a bunch of artistically challenged 2x4's. I've always admired the talent that people on this board possess. The thought of matching embarkation T-shirts is cool, but unless they're on the rack at Target, it ain't gonna happen for us.

I made shirts for all nine in my group. It was easy, but time consuming. I just used a magnet design, and personalized it. The most expensive part was the printer ink. Ouch! This cruise is a 50th anniversary cruise for my in-laws, so thats what I printed.

For some stupid reason when I was typing my spell check changed what I was typing from shirt to sh**. I have know idea why, but as soon as I saw it I changed it. This is the second time that has happen to me. How embarrassing!
