OMG I feel soooo dumb!!

I went back on my emails and found out I HAD A PIN!! LOL , I looked on a vacation package and left without buying, then they sent me an email to explore my resort picks and very TINY in the bottom right corner said Call and have your pin ready and the number right after!! So I'm in the phone right now waiting for them to get my call lol!!!

So check those emails it was REALLY TINY in the bottom of the page, so I probably overlooked it.

Let's see how good of a deal I get!

Was lucky enough to get the 40% PIN for the Polynesian in November fourth year in a row. Booked three rooms for a special birthday trip.

We received one for April May around Christmas time... so there is hope they'll send something

I just called. I had them price out my trip. AKL 11/14-21st 2 adults, 1-9 year old, 8 day park hoppers, regular Dinning, and Savannah View. I held my breath and she said well with the deal that is associated with your account it will be 3302.14!!! That was 1240.84 cheaper than the online quote. I put that deposit down so quick the CM's head had to spin....

And just in time seeing that you have to book by the 28th of Feb....saved me $1600 for 3 adults and an infant at a one bedroom villa at AKL with deluxe dining....needless to say i'm over the moon

We got ther November PIN as well and it won't accept any dates even when I change up the resorts and resort categories

Got an email pin!!! I've been doing everything trying to get a pin ... last night I checked my email around 9:30 and there it was ...
I called my mom so fast - I was ready to book it right then!
She couldn't wrap her head around it so we waited 'til today ...

I got a 2 bedroom villa for 4 adults & 2 kids with dining and park hoppers at Saratoga Springs for $5800 for 11/27-12/3 SO EXCITED!!!!! Our magic number for booking was for it to be under $6000 ...

Today when I called my mom to discuss things before calling she said "Oh, a pin? Yeah, they mailed me one a few weeks ago ... Did you want it? "
I was ready to scream! She was a travel agent for 35+ years
Oh well ... at least we got it

I booked our trip on Sunday and then yesterday (Wed) I rec'd an email w/ the 40% off PIN. I changed my reservations (moved it back 1 day to fit in the discount period). I saved $510 and got an upgraded room.

I keep getting pins but not for my dates! And I can't move my dates back because it's my wedding! Does anyone know if there have been pins for the first week of November in the past? I don't get it, being that it's not really a holiday.

That is the same exact situation I am in!! I am getting married on November 5th and there is no way I can just move my wedding date to start the honeymoon a week later..Lol

I got a pin code! I just booked our trip for the week after T-giving with a 40% off code. It's not free dining but it was a heck of a savings AND it'll save me some calories!!!

We would also like to go during Thanksgiving week. Can I book a trip in hopes that I will get a room discount at some point? If I've already booked my room, can I call later if I should receive a discount code and get the discount? For a single mom with three kids (13, 14, and 9) is the dining plan worth it? Help!

Sorry FutureMrsB..that week is usually the week that all NJ schools have off due to the teachers convention. (And usually the end of MNSSHP) This year Disney seems to have decided the first 2 weeks might be busy so no discounts so far.

Last year the first week was not discounted to the GP, but there still was an AP discount. We are hoping that is offered again this year. We are currently booked at the Dolphin because I am afraid there may not be an offer this year.

I am thinking that is not accurate. Free dining was not offered during Jersey week, but general public room discount was. We almost booked, but decided to wait a year. Was anyone actually there that week who can verify?

We were there last Thanksgiving (wish I was going this year as well!!). We had a 40% pin for Sat-Tues. and then it went to rack rate. I also rec'd a pin for free dining but the 40% was better because we were at the YC. On our dd's reservation, we were able to get the $500.00 gift card. My TA stayed on top of all of this and the untold changes we made. She was a gem. I returned from a weekend away to an email from her telling me she had gotten the gift card on that reservation.

As for the dining. I definitely say yes. It was convenient, we knew where we wanted to eat, looked at menus and knew we would save.

The biggest question to deciding would be how much do your 13 and 14 year olds eat? Both are adults by Disney pricing. The families I know who have 13-14yos who don't eat full portions still don't feel they save anything with the dining plan, especially if either would just prefer to eat off of the kids menu (which they can do almost anywhere). However, if they both eat like "adults" and would like and eat enough for an adult meal, then I think it could be beneficial to you. I always like to price out where I want to eat and what I might chose there and see how it pans out. So far, I usually come out ahead on the dining plan with one adult and one child (7).
