Hey there!!! We ust did the 3 night dream for my 30th birthday and we rebooked these dates on board for our 12th anniversary. It will be my self husband and 4 year old daughter. It wasnt nearly long enough and I think we are hooked I would like to add we did FE and our group was only five families it was great ! I loved the smaller group.

I'm cruising with my DH, Daughter, SIL and two grandkids. My granddaughter turns 4 during the cruise.

I think 4 is going to be a great age for the cruise! I am now going back and forth between the family suite or not. We absolutely loved our room on our last 3 night cruise 10648 it seems to be a convenient quiet location. It did get a little rough back there the last night but the positives out weighed that. We wanted the extra space but most of the reviews for the deck 10 family suites indicated noise. Ok I have to also admit it was also a great place to show off my door as people used the stairs to go to cabanas. I was worried about the noise at first but we didnt hear much. So its come down to.....do we want our location or bigger room? Do we want to be these people that book the same room over and over?!?

Every age is a great age to cruise! My granddaughter's first cruise was when she was 23 months old. Her second she was 2 1/2. While doing the countdown for the 2nd cruise she put her hands on her head and said, "I just can't wait anymore!" We actually watched the Magic sail into the NY harbor for the first time on the harbor cam. We were on the second sailing out of NY, but when she watched the ship sail in she ran to her room yelling...It's here, we have to pack! It's so funny how people think their kids won't remember a trip, but they really do. You just have to go often enough that the memories just sort of build onto each other. Plus YOU will remember and take pictures and keep all those precious memories for years to come.

I completely agree!!! THe cruise we ust did on March 7 was our first cruise and it was our best vacation so far! I think we will book onboard everytime from now on. Disney really gets it right!! I am not sure if I can do a different cruise line. Even when docked at port the difference between our ship and the others is amazing and the constant maintenance and cleaning we watched go on was really comforting I didnt see anyone on the other ships repelling down the side cleaning LOL! I think its too early to be this excited!!!

Thanks Margo! You are correct. The the Fantasy being such a large ship and I've heard stories about other groups having to deliver FEs to 50 or more staterooms, I thought it would be a lot more manageable to split the group. I'm thinking around 20 or 21 staterooms per list. I'll probably close the group out about 5 weeks prior to sailing in order to give everyone plenty of time to finish their gifts and pack them up or ship them directly to the ship.

Id say the smaller the groups the better maybe even like 10 depending how many people total sign up I guess. We had 5 rooms on the dream and the gifts were wonderful! I think people delivered more times and were able to put more into the gifts by doing such small groups. Just a thought

I'm all for smaller groups, maybe 10-15. I don't remember how many families were in it last time we cruised, but I crazily decided to make a Disney "beadie critter" (see www.beadiecritters.com) for every person, and ran out of time to finish them ahead of the cruise, so I was finishing them up on the cruise which was just crazy. I'm trying to plan something a little more low-key this time.

For the FE, I'm taking ALL names until we get to 6 weeks out. At that point I will see how many people are signed up. We will then make a decision on how to split the list. I don't want to turn anyone away and a lot of people book late. 5 rooms is out of the question. This is a 7 day cruise and if everyone delivers within the first couple of days, then those FEs will remain empty most of the cruise. So disappointing for little ones. 10 to 20 rooms is VERY doable. I've delivered to 20 rooms and it's not bad. It really starts to get crazy when you hit 25. A friend recently cruised on the Fantasy and they had over 70 rooms and the people on the list took a vote and decided to NOT split the list which I think is totally nuts. We WILL be splitting the list if we have to and if someone WANTS to be on more than one list, I can arrange that.

WOW! I cant imagine doing 70 rooms. I also agree 5 is too small for a 7 night cruise. I think the 10-20 with the option to sign up for multiple list is a great idea!!

I just can't imagine that everyone voted to do 70 rooms!! I put a lot of time, effort and money into doing gifts for 20 rooms, and I always give to the kids as well. So 70 rooms?? Oh my, I would have to just drop out of it because There would be no money left for say... the photo package and souvenirs! Also, I would spend the entire cruise walking around delivering the gifts instead of standing in line with my granddaughter meeting the characters.

Thats what I was thinking. Imagine the money it would take to do 70 rooms ! Not to mention packing and bringing all the stuff with you onboard. Sorry guys no swim suits.... had to make room for fish extenders LOL!

We got off the Fantasy 03/30/13 and can't wait to go back. Hopefully the next 32 weeks pass by quick!!!
