I can't go out until later today but want some candy for DD birthday treat bags. I waited hoping for some 1/2 off deals. Where should I go? Walmart? Kmart? Target? Thanks!

hehehe!

I should tell them that! The same girls that will be at the sleepover are sleeping off the sugar high at my house right now. Maybe I should fill the treat bags with bean sprouts or broccoli! :lmao:

Rite Aid had "select" Halloween candy at 50% off

CVS has it 50% off today - no signs up to that effect - but I scanned the candy and the sale price came up.

King Soopers was 50% off, Walmart was 50% off, Target was still at 30% but they had nothing good left so I was glad I had gotten it at KS and Walmart earlier. Got a bunch of chips and fruit snacks for 50% off at Walmart, too. I use the candy for sticking in the shoe boxes for the Operation Christmas Child thing. And my kids will be stoked to get chips in their lunches because I never buy them! We are in Colorado, BTW, in case you are looking for a particular area.

My Walgreens in Chicago had 50% off today but no big deal really. Got a bag of Reeses peanut butter pumpkins for $3.50. Last week they were on sale for $3.99. So a little savings but not as much as it would sound like. Also most of the good stuff wasnt there today.

Target only 30% here too on household items, but 50% on costumes, clothing, and decorations.

Giant Eagle had bags of candy bars for $1.05 (York Peppermint Patties, Reese's, etc.), candy corn for 27cents, tootsie rolls for 80cents. It was flying off the shelves.

My DH just called me from Target. He went to pick up a script and figured he would grab a bag of Snickers or something. He said the candy was only 30% (as others are saying) and all they had left were MilkyWay's...:confused3 so he is getting one bag to munch on .... I just lost half a filling this morning, so I really am not too upset that they aren't 50% right now.. :headache: I have to call the dentist anyway...:headache: but I know he is upset....:upsidedow

I was just at Homeland to grab milk, and there's was 50% off. (Is Homeland a regional grocery chain?)
