Notice to point price increase?

When DVc has raised price points before were you notified beforehand and given an opportunity to add on before the new price took effect?

Yes. Believe we got a letter and also an email. However IIRC, I read about the increase here on the DVC Forum before I got either the letter or the email notice. Think members had a couple of months notice (or maybe a little more than that). Maybe someone else will remember for sure.

DVC usually does a mailing to the current members warning them that the increase is coming and trying to get them to buy in advance.

I wonder if you wanted to add on, but had to be put on a waitlist if they woudl honor the old price? (wishful thinking...)

Also, how often have they risen the price?

There have been some posts before with the historical information on pricing and price increases with regards to the points and maintenance fees as well.

Might want to try and get the 'search' function going on that one though because it's been a while since I've seen them.
