I can't see the newer ones this morning, so they are probably linked from somewhere that is down (smilies that is).

What are no bakes? I have a bit of chocolate here and there, but not too much caffine overall. Mostly its been salty foods I have craved this time around, but lately, I think with all the ice cream talk, I have been having an ice cream sandwich before bed They rock! Of course, I can't see my shoes anymore to make sure the match, so once the baby comes I won't be so happy if I eat many more lol.

*yawn* anyone else really sleepy this morning?

YOU DON"T KNOW WHAT NO BAKES ARE???? Oh, for shame. I am so sad for you. Basically, they're oatmeal, cocoa, sugar and a little peanut butter melted together in a pan and then dropped onto wax paper. Kinda fudgie. Really not like anything else I know though. Definitely an all-time favorite for me!

Just got a new ice cream sandwich dessert recipe, speak of the devil. Line any size pan with ice cream sandwiches. Layer with whipped cream. Put another layer of sandwiches. More whipped cream. Dirzzle with chocolate and put in freezer. Can't wait to try that one!

*drool* that sounds like heaven to me right now - both the no bakes (which I HAVE had before, just didn't remember them being called that) and the ice cream sandwish dessert! Gonna have to try that one at the next family get together! Easy and yummy! <---right up my alley baking skills wise lol

Now, I still remember tellling my mom that she was cheating when she made them because she was using a saucepan on the stove, and she had to clue me in that "no bake" was not the same as "no cook". What a strange child - who quibbles about anything when their mom is making cookies?

jnrrt - I had the same thougth when I was youger. Would never have quibled over it with mom, though. Except for a couple years, she worked and cookies did not happen all that often. No, I was not neglected, but really appreciated the cookies when she was laid off!

It's not just me. Others on teh Tech board said tehy were having issues, too. Whew! My issue really seems to be that wdwinfo.com will not show for me. Hmmm... That doe snot seem good. At least it's not just me, but thanks for your help. I like that I can post here on my friendly little board before venturing into the great big DIS world!

I love No-Bake-Oatmeal Cookies (that's what we always called them). You have inspired me to greatness and I think I will make a batch as I haven't had one in quite awhile. The last time I made them it was for a neighborhood picnic. It kept getting hotter and hotter outside and the cookies were getting softer and softer...it wasn't pretty.

Been super-busy at the Blood Bank these past few weeks, not much time for DIS-ing. But ahhhhhhhhhh vacation time today until 8/29, woohoo! Not WDW this time (53 more days for that), I just can't deal with the crowds and heat of WDW in August.

Gonna do a lot of NYC/LI stuff with my kids, something we always say we'll do but rarely actually do. We'll take in a Broadway show, visit the IMAX, drive over to the Bronx zoo, visit our local roller rink and one day we're gonna go hiking in upstate NY.
