Oh, man! But... glad the pain is improving.

I think you all know where this is going! No 50th celebration for me! I canceled our late September trip.

Sorry to hear that.

My sister is actually relieved she was having doubts about traveling with the current P situation.

Well... so maybe it worked out for the best? Maybe?

I have some cool 50th dresses and shirts, I will have to wear those in January!

Right now Andi and I plan to travel to Disney in late January, March, and Fall. The positive is Andi will come with us next year at this time.
I have some cool 50th dresses and shirts, I will have to wear those in January!
I am happy to see Dessert Parties returning and I will definitely plan one of those for January and fall!

We will miss you! We are tentatively planned for early Feb and April.

I bet TSL was so nice being empty. What a great way to start off the trip. Not to mention, I'm sure it was less stressful learning to navigate with a w/c (and Andi pushing it) without throngs of people around and jumping in front of it.


Aw, no! Sorry to hear about your ankle. That's a bummer about having to cancel your 50th trip. But...healing and ensuring you don't make it worse is the most important part. You want to be ready to rock and roll next year for your three trips!

You know I feel so bad you won't be there for the 50th, but already having 3 trips in 2022 planned is great! We are booked for March 6-10th so far, and the 5th at Universal.

English is widely spoken North and South but there are certain parts of Donegal called the Gaeltacht where they only speak Gaelige. My Irish is very limited - a few prayers and couple greetings and the most important word in the Irish language- slaínte! Slaínte ( pronounced slan-cha) means cheers so there ya go you can now toast everyone and everything in Irish .

Yay! I will cheer in Irish now! It is very interesting all the different languages in Europe! Is it the same Gaelic Scotland speaks? I’m a huge fan of all the Outlander books! So good and filled with tons of history.

Thankfully the government had just announced they will vaccinated age 12 and over now. Bout time!

Yes that is good! Our government is now debating the booster jab for everyone or just those higher in age and certain medical conditions.

Exciting times ahead!

have ADRs here for breakfast and dinner in October and I cannot decide which to keep. We've never done either.

We have done both, breakfast pre-Covid-19 I really enjoyed both, If it is all adults I would pick the dinner but it is hard to choose!

yikes…that makes me cringe…the scooter would have been soooo much easier!

I know! I was so nervous of running into someone or being embarrassed with the whole bus thing, if I need one in the future, (gosh I hope not) I would do the scooter for sure!

I miss those EMM days. Those were my jam. If they ever come back, I'll be first in line!

I do as well, such a nice way to enjoy the morning with low crowds.

What an amazing morning you had at HS. I can’t imagine how quiet it must have been to ride so many things with so little queuing especially given so much was down. Love the photo of the Pixar ball.

It really was a nice change! It is usually so crowded in DHS and it is not a favorite because of this. This trip totally different

They were only building the skyliner the last time I was at WDW (yes it’s been that long) but I like the look of it. Other family members not so much . Maybe one of these days I’ll get to see it for myself

I think the Skyliner runs efficiently 99% time, we just hear about those freak accidents and hanging in the air for hours! We didn’t encounter any problems thank goodness!

How nice to be on the skyliner to be able to go back to the room and rest.

This was so convenient and quick!

YUM I had this for the first time last month and it'll be my breakfast at HS this month again!

YUM again! These really area good What a great time at HS with no crowds, reminds me a bit of our first few post-COVID trips!

I think a Skyliner ride to the Riviera for the fries and other good dining options is a must for us now!

Y’all are so cute!! My 20 year old DD is my Disney buddy. We’re going in October for my 50th birthday on her college fall break. I love Riviera and you had an awesome view!

Hello! Very nice to have you here! I am sad about canceling! It is the right decision at this time! I really like the whole 50th celebration lasting 18 months! Thank you for the positive thoughts I sure hope this injury is all better sooner than later!

Yes it is so weird how this just showed up one day and has really changed so many of my plans, ugh! I’m excited for future trips, I hope these happen!

I love a good character cavalcade

We had a nice time relaxing in the room and munching on a few snacks. We headed back to HS around 1pm for our boarding group. These lovely mosaic walls are on our way to the Skyliner.




As soon as we entered the park, a cavalcade was coming down the street. We had a great spot and could see all the characters! Mrs Incredible and Edna Mode, love it darling!




Oh and be still my heart, Sully he is my favorite fur character. I am like Boo and he is my kitty!


Another favorite of mine, Buzz, he was in his special Toy Story vehicle. I have to say I am partial to the space man over the cowboy.


It was time for our boarding group and we headed to GE. We basically walked on, maybe a small wait right before the pre show room. I am still amazed how many people just walk up to the CM’s at the entrance and ask what is this? How do we ride this?, Where is the line? Oh wait you need a what to ride this? We snicker every time we get to this ride entrance. I would think you would do a little trip planning before coming to Disney, but many do not! We had a wonderful and fun ride on Rise.


We decided to head back to TSL and we rode TSM again! We love this ride! Andi usually gets best in vehicle. I think I got my highest score this afternoon. Don’t laugh now but my highest score is 130,000!
It was very hot this afternoon, we went over to MMR and found a PhotoPass CM and had a few pictures done. He was not the friendliest and did the standard 2-3 shots.


We decided to ride MMR, the wait was a little hot outside but it did move quickly. We got to experience the pre show for the first time and it is very cute! We also sat in theback of the train and we saw different things, I really liked that. The ride is a little different depending where you sit.
It was time for some ice water and look who we saw greeting everyone! This was so fun. We enjoyed visiting with the two main mice before we headed back to the Skyliner.

The first couple times we rode before we were in the front of the train so it was cool to see it was a little different, just like on Rise, depending which vehicle you are in, it is a little different
