not wanting to arrange pick up for stroller

When we used strollers at WDW, our kids were old enough to walk, but not "Disney Walk". They could get through the airport and such. Renting a stroller was a much better situation for us. That also allowed us to rent a double-stroller, which we did not have at home. We have taken strollers with us on airplanes, and it worked out OK, but admit it: it's yet another thing to deal on a travel day that would be nice to avoid.

I've never heard of anyone having 5 or 6 strollers.
Our little kids were 4, 4 and 6, we had no need of a stroller in the airport, and with 5 kids plus luggage, didn’t want to have to push it. I had a lot of strollers in total (bassinet pram, tandem double, side by side double, tandem triple, single snap and go, double snap and go, double jogger, a couple of umbrella strollers…). We rented a double from the parks so we didn’t need to deal with it on transportation. Our kids were troopers, never had to carry them back.

Hi! I just wanted to add an option for you. I saw the family with the 2 year old is driving in and you fly in. I’m not sure how you plan on getting to your resort, but if money isn’t a factor Away We Go Transportation lets you rent a quality stroller from them and it’s in the car waiting for you when you are picked up. Obviously the bus and Ubers/Lyft are way cheaper than private transportation but in the chance that you take a private service anyways figured I’d mention it 😊 We didn’t want to figure out a delivery window for a stroller either and with two kids in car seats we opted for private transportation over uber anyways and their stroller rentals are cheaper than Scooterbug.
Good luck!

I was scrolling down to the bottom to make the same recommendation but for Cast and Crew! They will also pick you up from the airport with a City Mini GT (the best Disney stroller IMHO) already loaded in the trunk. Also a great company and so convenient!

So I've been watching FB marketplace for months, and just recently someone posted a citymini for $60 with the parent and child snack/drink trays. It's in like-new condition, so now they have one for all the time and will drive it down fixing this whole issue. Bought a $10 rain cover and we're in business.
Plus it made my daughter super happy to see the nostalgic stroller like we used to get right in her driveway.

Sounds like a great conclusion. My first stroller was a City Mini..... great for Disney. Less great for actual city use.
Also, out of the 4 strollers I've gone through, the City Mini and my newest one that collapses in a similar way are the ones that haven't gotten bent out of shape while traveling.

I'm over here scratching my head over the "anti-stroller in the airport" comments, because I'm going to be a little sad once we stop taking a stroller when we travel. My youngest is 5, and half the time the stroller just ends up as a luggage trolley for the airport. Sometimes, I'll even have him push it, because he can't move as fast with it loaded down. I also still take a car seat for him to use on the plane, and strap it to the stroller in the airport.
Even with the inevitable stroller damage, I prefer having a stroller along. We're probably about 6 months out from him being ready for restraint-free travel.
