This won't help with your hotel. I am sure if you post asking for suggestions to save money many will have suggestions for you. Why not try saving for your vacation? There are other places at WDW that I am sure your wife would like if money is a problem.

I think the dolphin experience the OP is referring to is the Dolphins in Depth tour at Epcot not the Dolphin Resort
