This year DH wants to go on a few of the backstage type tours offered. THe Segway one looks like fun, but how on earth do you work one of those things????? I am not sure about it, I don't have good balance and would probably end up in the lagoon!

What you do experienced people recommend for the two of us?

Thanks a bunch!!

I gave DH the Segway tour for his b'day when it was first available. He LOVED it! There's a class first, where everyone practices, and he thought it was pretty easy to learn to shift his weight and make it move. The group was small (~10 or 12) and he said they all had fun together and the instructors were great. It took some people a little bit of practice to catch on, but everyone did well. He did a 9 AM tour and really enjoyed getting to see World Showcase before it opened to guests. They zoomed around and got to see CMs working to keep the area clean and maintained.

Go for it!

Believe me, everyone feels the same as you do the first time! I just know I'll fall flat on my behind, but I figure hey, I am never going to see those people again, so who cares! I would definately recommend the Segway tour and the Keys to the Kingdom tours as the top 2.

It really depends on what your interests are.
I have taken the Around the World on a Segway twice and I HIGHLY recommend it!
I loved KTTK, but I felt it was a little bit too long at 5 hrs.
UnDiscovered Futureworld was excellent.
Last week I took Hidden Treasures of the World Showcase and I found it interesting, but not fantastic.
My next tour will probably be at AK, but certainly not until it cools off a lot, like maybe in Nov. or Dec.!
Here is lots of wonderful tour info, including unbiased reviews.

Good Luck! :sunny:

Thanks for all your info....I think we will try the Segway, I hope I don't hit a wall.............

Even though both are quite long, which tour is better, Backstage Magic or Keys to the Kingdom??

My DH and I loved the Keys to the Kingdom tour and did not think it was too long at all. We learned so much, the guide was just full of info and answered all our questions. Lunch was included in the price. Going underground at the MK was very cool too!
