But Epcot (future world) is only open till 6???? In August????
that doesn't seem right.....is this normal?
Are they really not expecting that much visitors..
I know...I know...hours can change!!

I mean...Blizzard Beach is open later than Epcot..

That is unfortunately normal now. At least Epcot opens at 9 again, not 10 like it was for a while.

Spaceship Earth, Test Track, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, and Mission: SPACE (once it opens permanently) stay open until park closing.

I guess in the "future" people are expected to sleep more so Disney is making their world that way. Really I agree it makes no sense why it should close that early, there's nothing there that makes a need for that. Even closing the AK at 5 or 6 seems odd, sure some of the animals need to be brought in but I would think that there would still be enough to do that it could be kept open

I read somewhere that Animal Kingdom opens really early in the summer months, cos later in the day it is too hot for the to see the animals on the safari. (It opens before the stated times) can anyone enlighten me, I`d hate to turn up for nine and find the place packed as it had opened early.

It's been 6:00 since April I think. Attractions like The Land, Living Seas, Imagination, were empty in the evening so that's why they did it. One night last December around 6:30 we went into the Imagaination ride and walked all the way up to the loading area without seeing a single person! As wdwguide said, the major attractions in FW stay open until 9:00.

If EPCOT closes at 6:00pm - then what is all this I hear about illuminations at 9:00pm and PS's to see them at Rose & Crown?

Only Future World closes at 6pm. The Showcase stays open till 9 pm

Oh!

So how do you get to the buses at the front gates? Can you still walk through that area - just the attractions are closed? Isn't The Coral Reef Restaurant in there? I have a PS for 6:00pm one night.

ya...i think they just shut everything down and u can still walk though....otherwise it would be a longggg walk around epcot to the buses

Imagine the hoards of people trying to rush the bus stop after illumnitation to come to closed gates.....I think that would start a riot




If you have a PS they will let you through....just like the PS for breakfast before a park opens.....the delighted CM with the clipboard will prob let u in if u say the magic word of the day

You can still go through FW. A few of the attractions will stay open till everyone leaves. It is a large, very large group of people leaving from illuminations. Can be quite interesting. Maybe that is the fun of it.
