Ok so when we went to WDW in August my son fell in love with the monorail kit, you know the tracks and parks and all. Anyone know how much this could cost? TIA

Disney has a merchadise guest services number that you can call. They can check for you and then ship if necessary. I'm not sure of the number but I'm sure if you call one of the phone numbers on any of your Purchase receipts from the parks they can give you the number.

I think the actual monorail and track is somewhere around $80. Then, there's the pieces that go with it like the 4 park icons (castle, tree, hat and Spaceship Earth) those range from $40-$100 and then they have the train station, Contemporary Resort, used to have the Polynesian and Grand Floridian, but not sure if they still do, lots of little ad-ons.

Someone on the Dis I think has a nice layout. We'll see if he/she chimes in with some pics.

They were sold out in DL Mon so I bought the N-scale train.Will try to pick up the monorail for DD's trian Garden we started building tonight.

July last year we bought the monorail train and track, the monorail switching station, GF, Poly, Contemporary, Spaceship Earth, Astro Orbitor total was around $500 it adds up quick. We set it up when we got home took it down and then brought it back for christmas. Both of our kids ate it up. Too much fun it's well worth the cost. Besides a lot of money, though, you'll also need a lot of room if you want to set it all up

You might also check out e-bay. I got mine there and it was new and a little cheaper than ordering it through WDW!
