Hi I am here now at okw. my flight to BUF leaves tomorrow and I need to get to Niagara falls ontario. Just got an email from southwest stating they will change my flight no charge due to travel advisory however I do not have a room for tomorrow night. DVC booked all rooms on property. Does anyone know if I can get from buffalo airport to canadian border? are the roads still closed in buffalo? some please help that is in the buffalo area. thanks !!!!

Not sure if you've found out the answer yet so i just checked the site that lets us know the cross border wait time ... says the peace bridge coming back into canada has a current time of a whopping THREE MINUTES! my guess is it's open or it would say sorry, you can't come home! As an aside though, you could always stay at the airport hotel in Orlando?? You could spend the entire day doing some resort hopping, shop at DTD...

I have a friend who had been stuck in Hamburg NY since Monday's storm due to the driving ban. Happy to report that she is home in Burlington ON as I type.

The NYS Thruway/I-90 reopened this afternoon at 3pm
