Not sure what to think after riding RNR and hearing about Mission Space...

I was thinking that maybe you were a bit dehydrated as well.

I used to love roller coasters. The higher and faster the better but in the past 5 years I get really dizzy on them. I can't take the g-force anymore.
Space mountain and even RnR don't bother me but I can't do any of the Universal coasters. I'm not even going to try MS.

Give me TOT anytime! I love that ride!

I'm also 42. I used to be able to ride anything. I noticed about 7 or 8 years ago that the spinning rides at Cedar Point were starting to bug me. Then came our Disney trips. I will try anything once, but I will never go on Mission Space, Star Tours, Body Wars or the Mad Tea Party again. They make me feel like I'm going to throw up.
Now last year we went to Cedar Point after a 3 year layoff. I noticed that some of the coasters are bugging me too, for example Millenium Force bugged me on the initial takeoff. I ended buying some dramamine and taking one and I was fine after that. But after years of going to Cedar Point I know which ones to avoid for physical stress--Corkscrew kills your head as it bounces back and forth between the restraints, and Mean Streak is so jouncy your back gets the brunt of it. Even DH, who I've been with for 25 years of dating and marriage and has been to CP with me over a dozen times, used to tease me about being the "mom who holds the stuff" when he took the kids on those rides (I always said I'd never be the poor mom who stays on the bench and holds everyone's crap instead of riding). After riding Mean Streak this time, he also said that's it for him.
As for Disney, when we go it will have been 2 1/2 years since our last trip. I plan on taking dramamine again because I love RNR and ToT. I always thought that RnR was bumpier if you ride closer to the back, so I try to stay near the front/middle. But I will never ride MS again.

hmm dehydrated, I never thought about that.

Just to clarify -

I'm 21.

Ive ridden MIssion Space around 10 times. No problems, other than a little disoriented. I take deep breaths and fixate my head the entire time. And im fine. I love that ride. I think its breathtaking.

Im a coaster junkie. We did Everest 3 times in a row last weekend. (then it got busy lol)

I LOVE TOT. My record is 14 times in a row, on a night during Fantasmic, when it was dead. I could live on that ride and never get sick.

My # 1 ride enemy? The Tea Cups. I get sick (as in GET SICK all over) every time i ride it.

I was just so confused why RNR felt so fast when we took off. It just felt out of control. And both my friend and I experienced the same thing. We're of the same stature, drastic difference in height and weight though.

Just wanted to see what ya'll thought. Im going this weekend for my birthday so i'll let you know how I do.

Mission space is the only ride I am aware of where barf bags are available. This convinced me to stay off the ride since the tea cups were torture for me.

I for the most part have put RnR abd ToT in the past for me. I have done both quite a number of times, but am at the age where I just don't think beating myself up is practical anymore, LOL. Every time I did ride ToT, I alwways felt lightheaded when walking through the shop after the ride. After each RnR, I usually asked myself, why did I just do that?, LOL I did ride MS once, did not get sick or anything but did feel 'strange', that's all I can say about the feeling, 'strange, weird', when walking down that very long hallway after the ride. I have not ridden it again. For the most part I am fine on Space, Splash and Thunder. Looking forward to EE.
