I'm confused

I'm looking to book for next year, we already have a deposit down for a 3 nigh cruise on 27th sept 2012 but I'm confused if I should be booking yet or not.

I have a few prices but only for 14 nights stay not a 11 night stay and 2 week airfare and they are coming out about 3250 for 2 adults staying at POR with 14 night tickets and the DDP upgrade.

Do you think flight prices will be really expensive for next year and this is therefore a good price or do you think I would be able to get airfare under 500 each if I book 11 months out?

I know this is kind of a how long is a piece of string question, but just to gauge and idea.

This is a good price in my opinion, we have paid a little less for 13 nights in jan. Flight prices have risen dramatically. Even miles plus money fares with virgin are nearly 500 for the early part of next year.
