I think I maybe should head for the hills, sort of feel like Brer Rabbit might have felt

LOLOL! No, it doesn't seem to be a good place for DH's tonight. :(

Well Dan, as long as DH's don't ruin totally perfect furniture..... I think you're OKAY!:o ;)

At least in MY book!::yes::

Oh, and here I was thinking of posting a thread about how to punish DH for dropping his wedding band...in the lake...

No Kidding Dan

Its dangerous to be a man on these boards tonight. Bet its not like this come that special sunday in June.

Some poor guys tried and went down in flames.
Some poor guys gave up trying years ago and are still paying for their past sins.

A few are feeling mighty relieved to make it past this day.

Me, I spent all day yesterday making sure the kids gave DW EXACTLY what she wanted. No more, no less. It saves the hysterics since guys make such lousy mind readers. You ever see a MALE physcic on TV? No its Miss Cleo! Us guys are so clueless in that area.

Ohhhhhhhh I thought this was going to pertain to that young man's butt and how all our DH's compared to it . . .;)

Not that I was looking of course:tongue:

No matter how cute the butt is ..... if they ruin furniture that is a NO NO!

Well no DH bashing from me, mine is the best and it has nothing to do with gifts he buys me or doesn't, it's because he's my best friend in the whole world! I feel so lucky and grateful for our life together and wouldn't want it any other way.

I'm normally not so corny but I'm in a mushy mood today. ;)

Hey palmtreegirl - I got a winner too! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world every day of the year!

No DH bashing from me! He did good today, and he's taking me shoe shopping tomorrow :teeth:

I am happy to report that yesterdays trip to the basement with tools turned out well, no fingers were lost and my house is still standing! :teeth:  :teeth:

No husband bashing here either, my DH treated me like a princess from sun up to sun down and usually always does.

Oh don't you worry Dan, I'm sure Marie would only have wonderful things to say about you. :)

No bashing here. I'm not a mother, but DH was wonderful to me yesterday. Yesterday was hard for me because not only was it a Mother's Day without my mom (she died in '97) but it also would have been her 75th birthday. DH took me to the cemetary. Now I know that might not seem like much, but I know he doesn't like going there. I usually go alone. For him to want to take me was a big thing.

Then when we got home he waxed my car by hand. This is prep for both summer and our road trip to WDW at the end of this month.

He's a definate keeper!

I do my share of DH bashing, but I have to say he out-did himself yesterday. My parents and my cousin came over, and DH cooked dinner, all by himself, refused to let me help him. And we're not talking burgers on the grill - he made stuffed flank steak, mashed potatoes, FRESH green beans, and cheesecake with strawberries for dessert. AND HE EVEN CLEANED UP AFTERWARD!!!

Of course, I ate so much I feel like a beached whale today, but it was worth it. :)

My DH......I think I'll keep him!!!!!:bounce: :bounce:

Well, my DH is safe. He done good for Mother's Day. :) On the whole, he's a wonderful husband throughout the year.

Now, my doggie, on the other hand, is now being called "Devil Dog" by me. Last Thursday, he ate one of my earrings--an expensive sapphire one, no less. And on Friday, he stole a bottle of ink out of my stamping supply box, then hid under the dining room table and chewed it open. :earseek: Thank heaven for Spot Shot or he'd be in the proverbial doghouse still.
