I was wondering if we can do the three day cruise (with the kids cruising for free deal) and then do the buy 4 get 3 nights free hotel deal? Im thinking if we book two packages, that would be ok but wondering about transportation, etc. It would be a great way to get a wonderful 10 day vacation!!!

Why wouldnt you be able to? Theyre two totally separate things

alot of people book them seperately. That way too you can choose whatever disney hotel you want to book and not have to book a deluxe if you don't want to.

we are doing it, but we will have our car. Not sure what you will do about getting to the port??

i think getting to the port is the OPs main query... unfortunately i don't know the answer, but it might be better answered over w/the transportation gurus on the transportation board

There are any number of reputable car service companies that will get you from the resort to the port, which may or may not work out to be less than a rental car for the day.

There are a number of options for transportation to the port. You can rent a car or you can use Disney transportation. Disney can pick up at the airport and take you to the resort or port, whichever you want to book first.

When we combined Disney with the cruise we rented a car, one way, before and after. They have shuttles at the port to drop off and pick up. It works out well, and saves money. We even did that when we didn't extend the vacation. I think I got most of my information about it from the cruise forum here.
