Not sad about Michael Jackson...

wow, making a thread dedicated to slamming someone that just died.

I mean, fine, don't feel sad, but actually going out of your way to slam someone that just died, is freaking pitiful, and it's as slimy as some of the things that you think Michael Jackson did.

Good job though, I hope when the grim reaper visits that all those around you feel hate.

Ain't it great to be a human being!

I find your comparison of child molestation to not feeling sad over the death of a quirky celebrity odd, but I suppose we all have a right to express our opinions. Which is why this thread was started. Not to slam anyone, but to express the fact that we are not affected by his death. People are sitting around crying like a dear member of their immediate family died, when it fact this was a complete stranger that the majority of these people have never met. I am sad when someone I love dies or is injured. I am less affected by complete strangers, especially those suspected of molesting children.

At the very least, he acted completely inappropriately with children. He was a very disturbed individual- he can't hurt children anymore
of course I'm not happy hes dead- I would be happy if he was in a mental institution getting the help and counseling he needed for many years

Umm. NO, it's not. Pedophilia does not equal speaking ill of the dead!

I feel awful in that people of my generation are saying this is a momentous day and are comparing it to Elvis dying and that I am not feeling it.
Well, I personally do not think elvis was that great. His biggest songs were ripoffs of black artists - he did NOT write his own material and I believe Michael did.

To each there own. you were giving facts about what the kids testified to about MJ privates does that make you change your mind about him.

What he did or didn't do--I cannot know for sure. Of course I would never ever condone child molestation. I am not priviliged to know the truth other than what he has been accused and vilified of.But I find it rather pitiful that people post they are not sad about anothers sudden passing..say nothing..just don't say that. That smacks of no moral fiber or conscience.

IMO.

I don't get this line of thinking. :confused3On the other thread, a poster had said we MUST respect the dead and say nice things now that they are dead.

WhereOWhere, are you only saying nice things about Jeffrey Dahmer now?

"Umm, well... he really loved young males..."

What is this denial we are supposed to go in after someone dies?

If you can honestly compare posts on a chat board to the molestation of a child its no wonder you are still an MJ fan

I just cabn't believe two major icons in one day. Then there was a report that Jeff Goldblum was killed in New Zealand. Not true, just a hoax, but still...
I'm not overly sad, but today definitely reminds me of when Elvis died. My dd is the same age today as i was when Elvis passed. It's kinda weird that history happened today twice.

I grew up with Michael Jackson. I am two years older than him. I remember being 11 and watching him 9 years old on stage with his brothers. I thought he was aMAzing.. for such a YOUNG child! ;)

Thru the 80s I enjoyed his rebirth during the Thriller days. After those days he became a shell of this former self. I actually felt sorry for the fact that he never had a childhood.

His brother ran a company I worked for several years ago. He is a wonderful, together man, it made wonder what happened to Michael?

I will miss him. I remember the little boy with the flawless voice and the twinkling eyes. Not the pale, feminine strange manchild. To me he will always be the child prodigy who was never allowed to be a child

Count me in as one of the people who didn't feel sad when I heard the news.
As others have said, I thought of his kids and wondered what would happen with them. Maybe they will go to live with their Mom. Wasn't she a nurse who agreed (I'm sure for a price) to have MJ's kids and then just gave up custody of them to him :scared:

Remember the time MJ held his baby out over the balcony :scared1:

Weird guy

Of course he was weird..heck-if that meant folks should die half the world would be dead!

OK no elvis bashing here...
:lmao: only kidding...
sadly your statement has much truth.. so many black artists had fantastic songs which never hit the mainstream airwaves until white artists recorded them....

MJ did have a lot of talent... I feel it was overshadowed by his bizarre behavior and the allegations against him...IMO

I feel sad that a thread like this exists.
Any loss of life unexpectedly is sad.
Sorry that you seem to feel otherwise.:confused3

That's a pretty dark trait..

Exactly,

while I do not like what he became in his personal life, he was still a human being and one I grew up with so to speak he was only 3 years younger than I am, it is still a shame to lose a life so full of talent.

And no matter how i personally feel about him it is insentitive to start a thread like this on the day of his death. Shame on you....

I hope his soul is at peace.

RIP

YES, the footage from the Jackson 5 days that I have seen today made me smile..... especially him singing "BEN" I loved that song when I was a kid...
the I found out Ben was a rat...LOL

I'm usually a calm person, but posts like these are stating to piss me off. People are not clones who have the exact same reactions and opinions. It doesn't mean someone has a dark trait if they aren't sad about MJs passing. I haven't seen anyone say YAY I'M GLAD HE'S DEAD!

I don't understand. This post was made so people could mourn or whatever in peace. This thread was made out of respect for those people. Now those people come to this thread and post how horribly we are. When we did what they asked and made our own thread. We can't win for losing

anyone who doesn't agree with me shouldn't be allow to use the internet!!
Also they are all evil for not crying about something they believe is a child molester
