I don't understand. This post was made so people could mourn or whatever in peace. This thread was made out of respect for those people. Now those people come to this thread and post how horribly we are. When we did what they asked and made our own thread. We can't win for losing

Yep..but at least we tried... and i bet there are folks who are happy that we did try...they just are not posting here...

Frankly, I'm posting here out of respect.

I don't feel a huge emotional loss and wanted to share. I'm not disrespecting the dead. I think I'm more respecting his mourning fans by not posting my feelings of indifference in the other thread.

Can people just let people feel what they feel and express themselves? Can people stop trying to control how and what people should be feeling? The people in this thread are trying to show respect to those who don't feel the same way, THAT is why this was started. The only insults I see are those that are purposely coming into this thread to insult those who are posting in it.

nothing in that post is rude- I suggested that you go to the appropriate thread to voice your opinion. I do not wish to be scolded bc I refuse to morn a child molester. I am very surprised (exactly bc this is a Disney board) by people like you defending a man you admitted to giving alcohol to minors and sleeping in the same bed with them. I was hoping to find people with similar values to my own on this thread

Just totally indifferent. He wasn't my favorite or my least favorite. I think he had a sad life and just didn't know how to cope. I do feel for his children. Both of their parents are not exactly the best in the world. Hopefully, they will now be allowed to life some semblance of a normal life.

Yes, the child was able to describe certain markings on MJ male organ to a T. MJ had vitiligo, that skin condition that leaves the skin marked and patchy. The exact description of the markings were verified by the police afterwards, who took pictures.

Not ANY loss of life. But, there's another thread where the really sad people are posting...it might be a good place for you to hang out. No sense getting sadder by the existence of this thread.

He was a prolific songwriter, dancer, singer...I don't own a MJ recording.
I do think he was gifted though. End of story.

What he did or didn't do--I cannot know for sure. Of course I would never ever condone child molestation. I am not priviliged to know the truth other than what he has been accused and vilified of.But I find it rather pitiful that people post they are not sad about anothers sudden passing..say nothing..just don't say that. That smacks of no moral fiber or conscience.

It's a discussion board. People are discussing. It's huge news, no matter how anyone feels about it. We're discussing how we feel about it on a discussion board.

Of course he was weird..heck-if that meant folks should die half the world would be dead!

I'm not even sure what your point is. Did someone say he should have died because he was weird, or that all weird people should die? That one's a head-scratcher.

Wow. If neither side is "allowed" to post our true thoughts on the passing of a celebrity, I suggest the mods shut down BOTH threads. As stated previously, this thread was created so that the non-fans could post their thoughts without upsetting the fans. Yet the fans feel the need to come over and bash us for not calling in sick to work tomorrow, donning our black dresses, and stocking up on boxes of tissues. If one of us can't voice an opinion, I suggest NONE of us do.
