Toured a few DVC locations this trip.

I stayed at Polynesian again; will probably stay again in the older studios as it’s fairly convenient and has overall decent services. I had a better experience with Captain Cook’s than last trip, so will eat there again. Really loved Wailulu.

Visited Riviera and saw some rooms. Rooms look nice. Primo Piatto quick service was great for the money. The Skyliner was the smoothest it’s been for me (we had a bad experience another trip). I still don’t think it’s for us; baked all day in the sun; lacks shade, and doesn’t seem as kid friendly. Maybe we’ll do an adults only trip here someday. Maybe.

Walked by my favorite Beach Club. Oh my heart. Next trip we will be back to Beach Club; I adore it there.

Walked and visited Grand Floridian. I think my mom would love it. But the pool seemed lacking compared to Polynesian. Reminded me of Nordstrom in the 1980s and 1990s. That isn’t a bad thing.

Finally visited Wilderness Lodge. Great vibe. I think my whole family would really love it here on a trip, especially a resort only trip. Everyone from my mom to my kids would enjoy this place. We have to stay in a 2 bedroom? Well, twist my arm, ok.

We just wrapped a week at CCV - despite the so-so weather, two evacuations (one at CCV at 2 AM and the other at Frozen, where CMs had to drain the water from the attraction to escort us off) - it was a great trip!

We made a last minute decision to spend New Year’s Day exploring every WDW DVC resort - no reason other than we wanted a break from the parks - and had an absolute blast doing it.

The surprise hit…OKW! The holiday theming was so well done and the laid back vibe was refreshing (not to mention they have the best resort-specific DVC merch I’ve ever seen!)

When I asked my kiddo which resort was top on her list to combine with BCV for a split stay this summer now that we’d seen them all, without missing a beat she said OKW! (Plot twist - it had been POLY before).

It was a good reminder at how different each resort is and how there truly is something for everyone!

Nice!! The only ones we still haven’t checked out in Florida yet are SSR, OKW, Cabins at Fort Wilderness, and BWV. I think OKW theming would be a hit for me too.

We ended our tour tonight with Top of the World Lounge dessert and coffee. Very tasty. But starkly different than Wilderness Lodge.

So far my rankings at WDW (note I have only stayed at BCV, AKV, and Polynesian; some of this is strictly based on vibes at the resort as well as location) are as follows:

1. Beach Club Villas
2. Wilderness Lodge/Copper Creek/Boulder Ridge
3. Polynesian
4. Grand Floridian
5. Animal Kingdom Lodge
6. Riviera
7. Bay Lake Tower

This is what I love about DVC, there is a resort for everyone! My listing would not be the same as yours.

BLT slid down my list the last trip. It seemed so bland for xmas time compared to the other two I stayed at akv and ccv. And crazy busy. Ofc I realize those are two of the best christmas resorts but I felt bored and the qs was gross

Update! We visited Saratoga today and got lost via the bus. It’s nice but huuuge and confusing and I never rent a car and am directions-challenged: it’s not for me! So it’s going to be my number 8.

We took the bus back to DS after walking around SSR for a couple of hours because we were so tired and it did take a very long time for it being so close lol

Update! We visited Saratoga today and got lost via the bus. It’s nice but huuuge and confusing and I never rent a car and am directions-challenged: it’s not for me! So it’s going to be my number 8.

Sounds like me, but I was lost in a huge downpour of rain. Decided its not worth giving another shot when there is so many other options at WDW.

Ummmmmm where’s Boardwalk

I was trying to go off of her posted resorts to not have to write all of them but here goes

1. AKV
2. BWV
3. PIT
4. CCV
5. Vgc
6. BLT
7. VGF
8. RIV
9. VB
10.BCV

Staying in one bedrooms vs studios make a huge difference so I feel my vgc, vgf, blt rankings can move up or down after since ive only stayed in studios.

Other resorts not listed i havent stayed at yet! Im trying to think of this as which resort would I want to book if I had to book right now and could teleport to any lol.

Ofc it varies bcuz I dont want to stay at Jambo until those rooms are fixed and vgf big pine key is lower on my list. I also like different resorts for different seasons. Bcv and VB would move higher in the summer time and ccv lower. Sorry im an overthinker lol
